Took my rc 1/4 sprint car frame there to get powder coated it was supposed to get sandblasted primed and colour coat looked good when I pick it up its been sitting on the shelf for 5 months now putting it together the colour coat is flaking off and no primer underneath doesn't even look like it was sandblasted putting your trust in a company and they can't even do what they say they're going to do

I read most of the recent reviews and thought there was some history I didnt understand about this business so I would give them the benefit of the doubt, BUT I WAS WRONG...I can now only assume all the commentary about their poor communication and lack of customer centricity is correct. While I cannot speak to the work (as we never proceeded) - DO NOT UTILISE THIS COMPANY - their service is appalling

On the 14th of January I completed email correspondence with the manager of the company that ended in me happy to book my vehicle in to have the wheels powder coated. Options were discussed and photos exchanged and for all intent and purpose I felt good about the same day service offer and the price was fair. I confirmed at same day with email I would like to book it in for the 31st of January and I received the response from the manager "Absolutely….. I will book that in for you" (photo attached) and "I’ve booked you in on my calendar, so when we get closer Ill confirm with you and keep you scheduled" (photo attached).

Time goes by and I hear nothing... so I am now on my way to them in good faith and I have to call them 3 times with no answer (yes - after their published opening time of 7am) so I get in my car and drive 30mins to the location they confirmed on the 14th only to be told (by email none the less) that I "booked myself in" and "I will always send you a job sheet with confirmation after we have we have settled on a date and I have organised a tyre company for you. My sandblaster isn’t working today I couldt book you in anyway today."

Now - I get it - small business and things get away - but for a $700 spend, I would have appreciated 2 things: first the follow up you committed to confirm and second, post our phone call, how about an apology instead of blaming me. You then followed up with another email suggesting you had not booked me in for the 31st and it was my responsibility to confirm back to you via a text message that you claim to have sent, but never did, and you never followed up regardless.

I can only say that these reviews are now confirmed for me and the one saving grace is I never had to deal with them or pay them outside of this inconvenience. If there had been an issue with the job or timing, I could only imagine the outcome.

A simple apology or acceptance of responsibility would have had me frustrated but returning to complete our business another day. Instead you chose to blame the customer entirely with no consideration.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY - they will not communicate with you and remain in total denial when things go wrong.

Would not recommend their services. Poor customer interactions, poor phone etiquette , just overall disappointed with whole process.
Contacted by SMS parts ready to pick up only to arrive and find it more than double the quoted price.
Job done isn’t exactly what was asked for so now costing me more money to finish it off.
Thanks but no thanks
Should have gone with my instincts from the first call i made and stayed clear of them….
