Primal Fruits Perth is a haven for locals and those further afield. Its concept is an inpiration towards greening Canning. I like to visit to get inspired and as a little retreat from the hustle and bustle.

Cyrus is very knowledgeable and shares his expertise and experience generously. I've learnt so much from him. He has also been more than generous with seeds, cuttings and plants over the years, especially when I was first re-establishing my garden after a major setback.

It would be great to see more of such in our Canning suburbs. I would love to see Primal Fruits Perth set up as a best practice example.

May Canning be seen as a green leader, like Bayswater and Freo. Those suburbs encourage verge food forests to create a sense of community gifting and sharing, on top of greening the suburbs. A neighbourhood that interacts has many benefits beyond the social as it also serves as patrol of delinquent behaviours etc. Win-win.

What an amazing diversity of plants in stock to keep the obsessive collector happy! The effort put in to find, research and stock rare, hard to find and quirky things that other nurseries don't bother with must be huge. There's always plenty of information supplied on the plants history and uses to help with a customer's choice. To the garden enthusiasts, visiting the nursery is like a kid being in a lolly shop.

Extremely knowledgeable and patient in explaining plant care and maintenance. It’s fantastic to see such a diverse selection of exotic and native plants, and he even goes the extra mile to source anything he doesn't have in stock. I’ll definitely be returning soon for more fruit trees!
