Arrived ~3:40pm, left early morning, pretty busy hospital, thank you for attempting to help me 😅 couldn’t do the stitches but the glue seems to be working well considering its been nearly a week and the wound is ~40% healed

Worst hospital in the world holding me captive without seeing a doctor. Having security threaten me. And just an all round unsafe hospital. Deserves minus stars. Terrible nurses shocking doctors who are non existent for serious trauma. Can leave you 5 hours at home then 5 hours at the hospital. Pathetic and still no doctor.

Firstly there are some awesome nurses and doctors here in ED,but sometimes there are not so great ones,that look you up and down and roll there EYE'S at you,be little you.Because you are back.At the moment due to our daughter having SEIZURES we have been told to come,as we are waiting for her up coming appointment with the neurologist.We have been told by others that Ed could do more for us but they won't. Also their a few ED nurses think they are better than everyone else they need a little reality check.

Phone operator, answering the phone for the hospital I believe her name is Robyn is absolutely helpful even though I called 7 -10 times with in a matter of hours she still spoke with positivity. Appalling ‘third world’ hospital. Nine hours to see the doctor through emergency. The medical system is a broken joke in Australia despite shockingly high taxes. One doctor on call. Rude nurses. Waiting many hours for the pharmacy and for scans after being admitted.

Parking (and construction) beyond a joke.

This hospital has mastered the waiting game for its patients. Would absolutely avoid this public hospital. Dire.

Thoracentesis could have saved my father. They told me that it was not necessary to remove fluid from my dad’s lungs. He was suffering pulmonary edema. They rather put him on heavy diuretics for “2 weeks” and failed to properly not feed him after 5th day. Aa a result he developed what they told me “Second Pneumonia while he was in this hospital” and he sadly passed way. The external support staff they hire for night duty was finishing his college assessment while on duty to look after my dad. The doctor made brief visits and acted as a “Class teacher” as she was just telling and telling and not listening or missing my questions.
Very very disappointed. I will not get my dad back which hurts everyday.
He sadly passed away while in this hospital 2 weeks later after he was admitted on 9 August 2024. His health improved dramatically and then doctors did not give him the required treatment due to lack of experience. It hurts everyday to think that he could have been saved.

I was reluctant to turn up at the mega-busy PA hospital on Sunday night 2 Feb. Having experienced bloating, breathlessness and 7 hours of chest pain, my wife drove me there. The reception was busy, however I was quickly assessed for a potential heart attack, which proved negative.

The doctors are under pressure to assess and help many people. Dr Lily and Dr Rick impressed me with their attention to detail, people skills, analytical skills, clear explanations and treatment to alleviate my pain and restore normal breathing. Their professionalism and patient care must be acknowledged.. Acute stall 17 is like being inside a fridge. Nursing staff Mr Hong provided a warm blanket. Thank you, I am very privileged to receive such great treatment. John
