I have a Chinese laser cutter which I bought second hand a year ago, and it had an issue develop. I rang multiple places looking for advice and possibly a part which no one in Australia seemed to have, eventually finding Gary via an online search. He wasn't available but rang back within about half an hour knowing that he was not going to make a sale and that I wasn't one of his customers and solved my problem on the spot. Excellent customer service well above what anyone else offered or what I had any right to expect, and needless to say, I am now going to be one of his customers (if this is how he treats a stranger, how well is he going to treat me when I am a customer...). Thanks Gary for great service and your expertise.

Terrible service. Gary doesn't call back when he says he will (twice), then when you follow up yourself, informs you that he's sold the part you were waiting for and it's your fault because it wasn't invoiced, despite never discussing payment or mentioning it during your two previous conversations.
But he did generously offer to let me wait for another one!
I go out of my way to support local businesses and happily pay for their service. This type of thing is why people shop online and overseas.

As a member of a Men's Shed based in Perth WA I was looking for a company able to assist with repairs to our Chinese laser. Over the last few weeks the machine had developed a problem that had proven beyond our inhouse expertise to resolve, furthermore no one seemed interested in fixing Chinese lasers. I discovered Pulse Laser's website and rang them not knowing how they could assist from the other side of the country. I spoke to Gary and described our problem, he was exceptionally generous with his time and advice, he offered suggestions as to what he felt was almost certain to be the underlying problem and even offered to look at our machine on his next visit to Perth if we should be unsuccessful. I am glad to say that Gary's advice was spot on and our laser was sorted out the next day. Without Gary's help we would have been "Snookered" and to think he did all this with only the remotest possibility of us becoming a customer is amazing.
I just hope this review helps others to find a customer focussed supplier and that Pulse Laser Systems are rewarded in due course for the way they conduct their business.

Simply awful customer service and a distinctly unhelpful attitude at first contact. Guess I caught the owner on a bad day, as the 'patience' and 'help' other reviewers are talking about was absolutely nowhere in evidence in the owner. Gary seems more interested in lecturing and schooling customers about their purchasing decisions and being overly dramatic about what's required, without being aware of any technical issue. Not at all interested in actually helping or "fixing what others wont" as the website claims. There are plenty of other "experts" out there who offer good customer service and support without the needlessly arrogant attitude. Stay away from this rude and unhelpful business and its petty owner, my experience as a customer was extremely poor and is not worth a single star.

EDIT: to confirm, our machine import works exceptionally well, with absolutely zero laser experience we had no problem importing, installing and setting up a import machine. Gary appears to be telling lies to cover for poor quality, rude service. PULSE LASER SYSTEMS ARE ALSO MADE IN CHINA. There was no great problem to fix, just a minor fine tuning required. Gary exaggerated significantly and suggested it would take 10 days work to address our minor fine tuning requirement. There was zero aggression on the phone call, I guess Gary is hypersensitive? or just a liar.
Poor customer service is just not acceptable in this day and age.

EDIT 2: We've since contacted another local "expert" who was able to diagnose our problem quickly OVER THE PHONE, after a few short questions. Our machine now works at 100% accuracy, instead of 99.5%, and all it took was an expert who wanted to help and one small software adjustment to make.

I guess there are experts, and then there are experts.

Decide for yourself, and use this company at your own risk.

Gary and his team have been extremely helpful in providing local support in the form of parts, service and advice, even though our Laser was not supplied by his business. This generosity will be a key factor in future equipment purchase decisions.

I was in desperate need for a new focus lens for my "cheap" laser machine and Gary was able to help me within hours. He suggested that my mirrors needed replacing and due to cost I was hesitant however I took the advice.
My laser machine can now cut at twice the speed I was originally and I can also cut twice the thickness of MDF. Money well spent and his advise and outstanding customer service was amazing!!!

When the demand for one of our acrylic jewellery collections went through the roof we had to find extra quality production capability fast. Gary, the owner of Pulse Laser Systems, showed a amazing amount of knowledge and patience as we worked through the different options available to ensure we would have a unit that would deliver on our production needs, and then went the extra mile for us to ensure we were up and running ASAP. The Queensland government declared Sydney a no-go area due to the second wave of the pandemic which meant we were now facing a major delay in installation and training and hence access to the much needed extra production capability. Gary organised to bring the cutter down to Newcastle where he provided training for staff including the final installation process. This meant we were up and running in a very quick time enabling us to address our production issue.

It is refreshing to come across someone who will go that extra mile to support a customer in this day and age. The laser cutter is not only exactly what we needed but it runs nice and quietly, and is a pleasure to use. I recommend having a serious talk with Pulse Laser Systems if you are contemplating investing in a Laser Cutter.
