Great free 48hr stopover right in Raventhorpe. Must be self-contained. Walk to shop, cafe, post office or pub. No water is available, but there are public toilets directly across the road from the park. For some of the sites, you'll need levelling ramps.

They ask that you keep your receipts for anything you spent in town and leave them in a box provided in the park.

Handy for an overnighter. Toilets across the road are decent. There were a few there when we arrived so we opted for the flat spot beside the road by the entrance. Some road noise which is to be expected, though not really a problem.

Small RV rest area in Ravensthorpe, WA with limited facilities. Must be self-contained.

Time and Cost: 48 hours, free.

Access: Sealed.

Facilities: Sloping, dirt/gravel base with some shade. Facilities include bins and seating within rest area, toilets and potable water nearby within walking distance. Good Telstra and weak Optus reception with some TV (ABC channels only).

Ambiance: Some road noise.

Good for a 1 or 2 night stay for self-contained vehicles. Fuel and food available in town.

Be warned of theft over night.
Our number plate was stolen during night as we slept,
Otherwise we met kind people at the parking and the toilet block was clean.

While we were away at the hotel having dinner supporting the town. The ranger visited. He left a note on our door saying we couldn't contain our grey water and had to leave be 8p.m. or have a $350 fine. A business card was attached with no name or contact number. Had we of been able to talk to him we could have shown him the 2 grey water tanks under our van ,plus the instrument panel inside to show their levels. So he we were reversing our 22foot van in the dark to leave. Yes we had a bucket of water sitting outside as my husband had been washing the side of the van down , that we put a lid on and poured down a caravan dump point the next day. This person is very over zealous and all he is doing is giving your town a very bad name.
Do not go to this town and most of all do not support them.
