Steve came one day last week to quote on replacing very old electric HWS with a solar HWS. We accepted the quote and the HWS was installed the very next day. I spoke to Steve about a replacement gas hot water storage system, after my 20 year old unit finally died.
After speaking to a couple of suppliers, I happily chose Renew Energy because I appreciated Steve's straight to the point, no hidden add on and competitive pricing policy.
The new unit was fitted within a day of my discussions.
No fuss, no bother including removal of old system.

Price was competitive and is worthy of a 5 star. However the organisation of the job and initial inspection cost was rubbish. The job was meant to take 1 day, it went for 2 days spaced over 3 seperate visits and 3.5 weeks. During this time the team was late on site everytime by over an hr. Not generally an issue but when I'm taking a day of leave or cancelling plans to be at the house it starts to take the piss. Also not good form to flick the invoice out to be paid prior to the job being completed and worksite cleaned up.

Excellent service and installation went smoothly. Haven’t really had it long enough to see a proper result with better weather though. I know power bills have gone up but I honestly thought my bill would be a lot lower than what it is currently. Time will tell and maybe I need to look at how and when I use my appliances.

Awesome crew, both electrician and plumber done excellent job on the solar split system water heater, thanks to tony & steve, also the 1st year apprentice, done an absolute quick & professional workmanship on it. definitely Renew Energy is on my number one list. cheers for that.
