I visited at 10:00am on a Tuesday in the lead up to Christmas. The assistant was just finishing serving a customer, then he gave me his undivided attention.

I was after a handlebar pouch for my bike and he patiently explained the options, helping me to make the right choice.

He then helped me to buy some tubes, some gloves and a Quadlock handlebar mount. This was done efficiently and personably - I was very impressed by the service. The assistant was clearly passionate about bikes and cycling, but could also carry on an interesting conversation.

Likewise I was impressed by the range of bikes in the shop - striders, BMX, cruisers, road bikes and mountain bikes. These were priced from Bridget versions to the more expensive - you’ll find one to meet your needs.

Many of the bikes were gorgeous - they carry some truly impressive bikes.

There was a great range of spares and products and the shop was clean and well presented.

There also was a service section at the back of the shop for bike repairs.

As an experience, this was as good as it gets. I am delighted that there is not only once again a fabulous independent bike shop in town, but one of the highest standard in terms of range, service and value.
