A different tasting experience.
We went here off-season and the Owner hosted out tasting. He shared some interesting insides.
We enjoyed some of their wines especially the Semillon. Friends loved the sparkling Shiraz.
Unfortunately it was Pizza time but I heard it's excellent.

Visiting Rockcliffe Winery in Scotsdale near Denmark was like stumbling upon a hidden gem, and what a delightful experience it turned out to be! As I stepped through the door, the warm welcome from the friendly staff set the tone for a lovely afternoon, especially on a sweltering 36-degree day. The cool, inviting bar area was a breath of fresh air, making it all too easy to settle in and soak up the atmosphere.
The food menu was well laid out, but in the spirit of honesty, I have to own up to my cravings for a cool beer and a delicious pizza. While plenty of patrons were indulging in wine tastings—most of them looked rather pleased with their choices—I opted for the wise route of sticking to beer since I was the designated driver. The Rockcliffe's selection of local Southwest brews, particularly from Artisan Brewing, was impressive. I especially enjoyed the unfiltered Pilsner, which I later discovered is quite the rarity back in Perth.
Now, I mustn't overlook the dessert offerings. On that scorching day, both my partner and I were compelled to try their gelato, and let me tell you, it was absolutely phenomenal! The smooth texture and rich flavours were just the ticket to cool us down, and we relished every mouthful.
Rockcliffe Winery also provided ample seating options both inside and outside, giving guests a chance to choose their preferred spot based on the weather. The car park was generous as well, making access convenient for all visitors.
Reflecting on our visit, it's clear that Rockcliffe Winery will be high on our list for our next jaunt to the Denmark/Albany region. I can already envision the wines making it onto our tasting menu as we indulge in the local offerings again. In short, if you're in the area and seeking a delightful experience, look no further than Rockcliffe—believe me, you won’t regret it!

We stayed one night at this beautiful place and tasted an incredible variety of their wines. We didn’t go home with our usual suspects (Shiraz and Cab Sav), but with a Malbec and Mourvrede. The pizza was absolutely incredible and our mind got blown when we had the home made gelato as a dessert. If you are in the region, stay here. If not, make a fricking de-tour 😃

This place is awesome. The wines were great, a huge tasting list, the staff were super friendly and the owner himself is often serving in the cellar door. They also have delicious pizzas, gelato, fudge and local beers on tap.

A beautiful lawn and a patio mean you can enjoy your wine and pizza in the sunshine next to the vines. Bliss.

We stayed a few nights camping next to the vines, and we’ll be back again for sure.

I visited recently with my dog, I was travelling solo and had to bring him in. Not only are they dog friendly, but the staff member who hosted my wine tasting, Eliana was incredibly kind and accomodating of his reactivity, so I could still experience a tasting. Amazing service and I left with a box of beautiful wines I'd been able to try!

Brilliant winery, awesome atmosphere and events all summer long. Amazing gelato and new beer in house as well. The team have added pizza to their meals- absolutely bang on! Yum

Beautiful spot amongst the vineyard, great wine tasting and delicious wood fired pizza and gelato on offer. We enjoyed a peaceful 2 night stay here and received a warm welcome from Steve - thank you, we'll be back.
