What a revelation the vegan degustation menu at Rustico is! As a vegan, I am very grateful and appreciative for the imaginative, subtle and delightful flavour combinations in each and every one of the (ten total!) dishes in the vegan degustation menu. The nutrition of the meal is also outstanding, with great use of beans, lentils and nuts, and the meal is well proportioned, so I was full and satisfied by the end. I loved the zings of lightly pickled vegetables and the use of herbs and curry leaves for flavour is outstanding. Each mouthful is a journey of delight as different flavours reveal themselves. The aquafava meringue for dessert is a real treat too. The setting is lovely for either a romantic or family event and the staff are wonderful. My only slight suggestions for improvement are that shared dishes often don't arrive with serving implements and our plates weren't changed between courses. This risks muddling the distinct flavours that the chefs have undoubtedly worked hard to create. I would suggest at least one change of plates after the second course. Other than that, this was a perfect and utterly wonderful experience that my husband and I can't wait to repeat.

Faultless from start to finish. Outside dining on a perfect sunny day completed the experience. 5 course degustation, paired with reserve wine perfect. Service was seamless. My pooch made to feel very welcome and part of the scene. Highly recommended ⭐️

Had the best experience today for a plant-based degustation menu accompanied with a 2014 KB Riesling. Every course was a delight - a rare treat to find as vegan menus require a lot of effort and creativity to make them standout, so highest commendations to the kitchen team. Impeccable service by Chris, extremely knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. After a group via bus arrived, we were able to finish our last course on the lawn in serenity.
We loved the experience and will definitely be back.

Rustico’s dinner degustation was the perfect way to finish a day of beaches and wine tasting in the South West. The service here was outstanding - we were very well looked after from the moment we walked in. The ground are beautiful and the food was excellent. For sure, one of the top spots to eat in the area. Standout menu items for me were the scallops, chicken parfait, prawns and the arancini, but other folks in our group loves other dishes too. We opted against the wine pairing and got a combination of sparkling wine and cocktails. The spicy margarita had a good amount of chilli but was a little too sweet for my taste.

Had an amazing lunch at Rústico at Hay Shed Hill! We tried the 5-course degustation, and every dish was a delight. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice. All dish were great, and what’s good is they are quite reasonable for its quality: you need to pay double if you want to have same amount with same quality in other restaurants.
The relaxed vibe and beautiful setting made it a perfect spot to enjoy a long, leisurely meal. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area—it’s a real treat!

One of the most reasonably priced tasting menus for the most exceptional food I’ve come across. Portions were super generous and flavours were mind-blowing-ly good! Friendly service as well 😁

Amazing venue. I feel in love with the grounds and gorgeous plants that adorned the restaurant.
The staff were friendly and attentive.
They kept checking in on us and were accommodating with our requests.
We had the 3 course degustation and a kids degustation.
The food was amazing. Beautifully served with complimentary flavours.
I recommend Course 1 and Course 2.
Both delicious.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are visiting the region.
I know we'll be back.

Had the 5 course degustation for lunch. Tried both the Vegan version and the Meat version and both were delicious and value for money - so full at the end. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful and the venue was picturesque. 👍👍
