Order National Police Checks with CrimCheck and steer clear of this place it is just a scam.

Such a terrible experience. They lost my NPC in the mail as it had no tracking and then forced me to pay again to have it resent after it had been over 2 months I had been waiting for it in the mail. They send the NPC with no tracking when this has private and confidential information about myself. This is such a reckless way to handle people’s private info and the fact that they claim it costs $32 to print on ‘special security paper’ is crazy. How is this business government run it is literally the biggest scam ever!

EDIT: Does not matter how many times you follow up with SAFENT they do not care about customers at all. This is so disappointing that a government agency can get away with treating people so poorly. I would never recommend SAFENT to anyone.

I did not get my police check for 3 months now and I followed up many times on phone as week as face to face but then when I go there I get told that I need to reapply for the certificate and the staff there was very rude and unprofessional. It doesn’t take much to talk to a person nicely. It was a very bad and stressful experience.

Disappointed. Applied for an Ochre card so i can start my placement. Paid 80$ just to received a Digital Copy of the card and not the physical card. I paid another 40$ to get a new card and its over a week and I still didn't have my card. What is going on in SAFENT?

Be organised, have all your documents filled out and ready to present BEFORE you queue to lodge.

I applied for a police check in March. It's now nearly the end of June and I have not received any reply. Wait times on the phone are ridiculously long. I have emailed requesting progress 3 times and received no response.

The NT state government really needs to be ashamed of themselves for this.
First of all, $81 for a police check is too much. The AFP police check is faster and comes in 1 week. While this one takes 4-6 weeks apparently. This absolutely incompetent government requires THIS exact police check for many jobs and thinks it's okay to make people wait 4-6 weeks. Some of us have come from interstate and are out of work. The NT government needs to abolish safeNT and replace it with services that actually function such as the AFP check or a third party police check. Absolute joke.

Wait times are very long. I waited on hold for an hour and a half but once the customer service representative answered he was very polite and pleasant. His service was fantastic and he fixed my issue with ease.
