Honestly best pain au chocolat in Sydney, and so affordable! It was my first try but definitely not last. This made my day and last year I tried their lemon tart for my birthday and it was incredible.

Pretty quaint and cute little neighbourhood bakery in Redfern. Nothing fancy and just simple baked goods, however, i would say that, strictly in terms of quality of pastries, it's probably a level below, even compared to those within Redfern.

Beef burgundy pie
Flavour: S, 8/10. Solid but would have liked a richer beef and wine flavour

Texture: A, 7/10. Gravy quite minimal and beef a little dry.

Pastry: A, 7/10. Not bad but a bit chalky

Value: B, 6/10. $7 is about average but wouldnt spend on this pie again

Devine! The cakes and pastries here are just sublime and they also do really good coffee. The quality is top shelf. Prompt and friendly service. Back here May 2024
I used to stop here regularly on the way to SYD Uni in 2010-11. and still so yummy. Street parking good out of peak hours.

An unassuming little cafe serving French pastries, tart & coffee. Got the lemon meringue & enjoyed how thick, fresh and crunchy the tart was. A good stop by if you’re craving something sweet or savoury !

Bought the dark chocolate raspberry cake today for an office birthday, yowza that was one of the best cakes I’ve had in my life! So good, sponge was great and so was the lovely thick layers of icing.
