Hidden costs. Lease transfer charge of $350 if you are changing employer. This fee will not be mentioned to you while engaging with SPA. SPA is the only company that charges this transfer fee.

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for your recent email regarding the mid-lease transfer fee. However, I would like to raise a concern that has come to my attention.

To my knowledge, the issue of a mid-lease transfer fee was never communicated to me by SPA prior to entering into the salary packaging agreement in 2019. This particular fee was not mentioned in the contract nor on your website, which has left me quite surprised. I have conducted research and found that SPA is the only salary packaging provider that charges such a transfer lease fee. In light of this, I believe it is essential for consumers to be informed about this fee before initiating salary sacrificing.

Attached to this email is a response I received from AANT, as well as confirmation from Fleet Choice that they do not charge a transfer fee. I will also be including these correspondences in my review. It was only when I approached Jack, whom I spoke to regarding a potential job change, that I was made aware of the transfer lease fee. Interestingly, my colleagues who have contracts with different salary packaging companies have not been subjected to this fee when transitioning to another job.

While I understand that every company has its own policies and fees, I believe it is important for consumers to be fully informed about all associated costs when considering salary packaging, as it is not uncommon for individuals to seek new opportunities.

My main intention in sharing this feedback and my review is to ensure that others do not fall victim to what I perceive as an unforeseen charge. There are numerous alternative options available to consumers that offer superior service and more reasonable fees. I have nothing to gain from sharing this information, as I have already paid the fee myself. However, I am committed to preventing others from experiencing the same situation.
