Fantastic place! My dad worked here for years and was head of his department. I remember he'd always bring home fresh muesli because he knew we loved it! What I also loved about this place, was the fact they'd hold Christmas parties there for their employees every year! So every year, we'd be going to them and going to the swinging bridge by the creek to see Santa and also get Xmas presents that the Sanitarium would hand out to the kids of the workers! I remember once though, they held a Billy Cart derby in the car park (the hilly part of the car park). My dad brought a small peddle cart that my brother decided he'd ride down the steep hill.......bad mistake! He came off and gravel rashed his butt! All my dad could do though, was laugh his head off! ? Another thing the factory would do, was organise bus trips for their workers and families. One bus trip we went on (Stace's Buslines), was to El Caballo Blanco. That was once near Sydney and was an amazing place to visit back in it's day because they'd have Spanish horse dancing in an arena which was absolutely amazing to watch! Not only that, they also had exhibits of life size dinosaurs, horse and carriage rides and paddle boats that you could take out and peddle them around the home made dam they had. It's a shame it no longer exists anymore because it was a great place to spend the day with family and friends! It's a shame that the factory is now closed permanently and has been bought out by Coles! Because the places we'd go to in there, you can no longer go to (Swinging Bridge for example.....which also was a short cut to Morisset for bike riders and walkers from Cooranbong or the factory itself and vice-versa). Sucks really......Other than that, brilliant place.....brilliant memories!

*Just a short note:

Me and my brother drove here after visiting my mother's grave just before my daughter's birthday on the 23rd August, where we noticed that you can actually go to the Swinging Bridge now, but not by car. You must walk via the carpark and down a track to get to the Swinging Bridge. Obviously Coles must have decided to let people use the bridge to get to the college by foot or bike from Morisset.
