I think this is the way to make sure you experience the islands. It’s a touch expensive, but after that initial payment everything is incredibly reasonable.

They provided us with all the additional gear we needed like bins, and a cooler and they only charged us the ice cost to bring out an extra cooler with ice the following days. Unreal.

They drastically undersold how good the snorkeling would be both at Whitehaven and Crayfish and made sure we were prepped with bug spray for the newly born biting flies (which was needed).

I can’t recommend this upfront, family run business more.

Went with Scamper to Whitehaven beach and camped for 2 nights - the best way to explore the island! You basically have the beach for yourself in the morning and at night which feels unreal, so avoid overpriced tours and go for this small, family-owned company instead. If you have some camping gear Scamper offer the option to just rent individual items from them instead of a whole camping package, which is super convenient. They were very punctual and helped us design an itinerary around the island: the walk to Hill Inlet is a must! We also rented snorkelling gear and went to Chance Bay, where we spotted a turtle. Fantastic experience overall, thank you 🙂

We did 2 nights camping in 2 islands with scamper. Camping equipments were quite nice, nothing to complain about.
The boat from Southmole to Whitsundays was really bumpy which I struggled with a little.
But otherwise it was fine.
I had an issue with my flight because of the ferry transferrs but they kindly refunded my ferry ticket fee.
It was my first camping experience and I really liked it.
Southmole island and Whitsunday island beach were so beautiful, have suprisingly nice night views as well.

We were very impressed with the service we received with Scamper. Tim and Sarah are both very professional and can't help you enough. We spent two nights camping at Naris Beach on Whitsunday Island and had our campsite to ourselves. We brought our kayaks and enjoyed exploring the nearby bays and walking trails. Can't recommend them enough. Very happy and would love to go out again and explore some other areas.

We camp for two nights in Whitehaven beach, we didn't bring our camping gear and we rent all with scamper.
Experience was absolutely amazing! Highly recommended to everyone.
Positive Points: punctuality, reliability.
Negative Points: is very very expensive, therefore we were expecting higher quality of boat transfer and camping gears, our sleeping bags were dirty, as well as all camping cooking kit, the gas was basically empty, least for 10min only (I strongly recommended to buy more before go). The sleeping mats were very damaged, All the equipment was cheap one, for the price we paid.
There is no other company in my knowledge that does the transfer, so just be prepared!

We went to the Whitesundays with Scamper. I have to say that it was a bumpy road, but we had a lot of fun. After that we spent 2 beautiful nights on the island. We rent the tents and everything we needed from scamper and we didn't have any problems.

We caught Scamper over to Crayfish Bay on Hook Island for my 30th birthday camping trip. The whole trip was so fun and wholesome from start to finish, the location was stunning and we almost had the whole campsite all to ourselves! We took two kayaks with us to kayak from our campsite to snorkel spots in the bay and I'm so glad we did. Definitely recommend taking a trip out with scamper!
