Scott and the team were great to deal with. No spam marketing involved like with the large, non local companies chasing a sale. Scott followed up in a genuine manner to see if we had any questions about the quote. He came to the site and informed us we could use existing underground cabling thanks to our electrician’s install. This saved us thousands of dollars compared to other installers who wanted to retrench without taking a look at the existing cable size. He also offered a range of options based on our discussion.

Scott provided a timely quote and gave us different price point options when we were looking to expand our existing system, including relocating our existing inverter to another location of the house. His pricing was fair and equipment recommended was of a high quality.

His team were incredibly professional on the day of install, they arrived when they said they would and were always conscious of how our kids were handling the construction noise, offering to pause if it became too much. They only disconnected the power when it was necessary, allowing us to get on with the day.

We have had a lot of different trades work on our house over the last two years for a range of different projects and some treated our place like a tip, leaving cardboard rubbish, metal waste/cuttings and debris onsite, as well as playing obnoxious music at loud volumes in the presence of my kids.

It was so wonderfully refreshing to see Scott’s team proving that tradies can be professional! They were meticulous in their clean up and took all rubbish material with them at the end of the day.

The day following we got a comprehensive report including photos of all stages of the installation and diagrammatic details of the setup. Our system initially appeared to have a minor hiccup, but this was remotely fixed within the day and it has been working brilliantly, achieving exactly what I had requested in the quotation.

They also provided the option to use the 15amp line from the old inverter as a car charging point in the future, which I had not considered, but definitely appreciate them presenting as an option.

I would not hesitate to get Scott Burke Solar back in the future and it’s clear to see why he has so many 5 star reviews. They are earned!

After deciding to install a solar system and battery (we wanted automatic backup during power outages) we chose Scott and his team to do the installation.

There were a few key reasons for doing so: Of the quotes we obtained, Scott was the only installer who visited our property (50 ks from Bundaberg) with the others relying on Google Earth; We had done a fair bit of research and (without prompting) Scott recommended products that we had already determined we would be happy with; He made pertinent suggestions for placement of the panels that we hadn’t thought of but made sense to us. All I all it was an easy decision to accept Scott’s quote and we are very happy we did.

The installation went brilliantly, all done and working in one day!

There have been zero issues with the system and we have been through several blackouts that we effectively don’t even notice. A secondary (for us) bonus is that it seems unlikely that we will have a power bill to pay again!
