Found out about the product from my son who bought a metal slat fence. Since the Slat Fencing Online was closer to me I decided to give them a go. They are a very customer friendly company, giving professional advice on product like colour availability and all various sizes and no job too large or too small. I could pick up my order (which included cutting to size) within a few hours. My compliments to the manager and his staff.

I would like to share a negative experience with these guys. Which as you will see from my previous google reviews, I am not a whinger.
I placed an order for 2 sets of double slat gates (gate kits) from slat fencing online April 6th. With no communications after the order, I.followed up several times to be told they would get a hurry on it.
Around 12 weeks later I received the order....actually half of it. They forgot the main outside frame of all gates, the box of tech screws, the cover pieces for all gates to conceal the screws and also the caps for all of the posts.
After 2 emails and several calls, I finally got the response that it was an accident and they would send the rest this week. Well, it took a further 7 weeks to arrive in qld, and when it did. 4 of the main frame pieces that determine the overall size of the gates are completely wrong and one piece is bent and damaged.
The company may now want to know why I haven't raised the last issue with them. Well it has proven pointless to be honest. You are an incompetent company and I'd rather just cut the material to length myself now and get the job done.
The only thing offered for a several month delay (at their fault) was some free delivery. Well unfortunately this is my opinion of your business. Nice gates, terrible company. Would not ever bother again.
I should also mention..the "kit" comes with zero instructions.. enjoy.
Terrible customer service. And I'm only giving them 2 stars because of the material quality. Countless other companies can do this without the hassle. Go with them.

Had a minor issue with my order and it was rectified with urgency! The finished product is awesome and we saved heaps. Great customer service guys, will be recommending you to everyone!

Update**: Recently purchased a double gate kit from here and once again they delivered! Took about an hour per gate but I was taking my time making sure they were perfect!

Really disappointing customer service. Constantly had to call to get an update on our order only to reach a call centre that takes your name and number. In the end we received the slats but when we called for some advice we once again were met with the call centre answering service and never received a call back.

The quality of the slats are great but I wouldn't recommend this company due to the poor customer service. Definitely go elsewhere!

Your ability to meet my delivery deadline was never in question. The poor communication is what has resulted in a poor star rating and why I wouldn't recommend your services. I know this isn't an isolated situation as I have been contacted by another one of your frustrated customer's who is in the same position. You also didn't respond to all of our calls. We had to follow up multiple times and the last time we called for assistance and questions, we did not hear back (despite leaving a message with the call centre).
So I will once again reiterate, good product but poor communication. Definitely think there are a better company's out there who will treat their customer's with respect.

Slat Fencing Online proved to be a good decision. Even though they are base in WA they do and did ship my order to NSW and even then the price was competitive. The slats are good quality and suited my purpose perfectly. The service was quick and efficient even with the extra freight time from WA. Highly recommend.

Avoid at all costs! This is an atrocious company to deal with! My experience is almost exactly the same as Michael Borlini's review on here and I can confirm his grievances with them are spot on. I ordered a kit on the 27th of Feb, and tried to contact them numerous times via phone and email to get an update on the order and there was next to no communication. After they finally shipped it 3 months later, for some strange reason my order was sent in 2 parts which meant that I had to hire a trailer twice to pick up one order. The first part of the order finally arrived to QLD on the 8th of May, yes, you read that correctly, May - it took 3 months to get only the first part of my order! The second part of the order was ready to collect on the 10th of June - 4 months after I placed the order!

I found out that I was missing a tonne of parts for the order and again, the communication was dismal. Repeated emails and calls over weeks go unanswered. After finally making contact, they promise they'll send the missing parts etc. I had to waste time trying to figure out what I was missing. The missing parts finally arrived on the 30th of July.

I finally got some time to start building the fence only to find out that we're missing more parts on one of the fences and once again we're back to phone calls not being returns and emails going unanswered. I've never come across a more poorly managed business with such dreadful communication in my life. Had they at least communicated with me, I would have been understanding of the issues with the order but the fact that your emails and calls go unanswered for weeks is unforgivable.

Avoid this company at all costs. You're much better off going with one of the larger companies - at least they'll provide some customer support and communication.

Incredibly happy with what I purchased from Slat Fencing Online. I bought the materials to build a fence and side gate. Very easy to order with their virtual and interactive ordering software in their website. Extremely competitive pricing compare to the bigger companies. I installed it myself and rang a couple of times for some guidance and received excellent customer service. Couldn't rate high enough!

Can not recommend this company highly enough. Great product, great advice and easy to install. Really happy with the turn around as well. Jonny and the crew at slat fencing answered my questions, I am a bit of a novice at diy and hit a bit of a hurdle- called up and got some advice and the end product looks amazing. Very happy with customer service and product quality.
