Michael and the team from Sparc Electrical did a wonderful job today. They cleaned our air conditioners, installed new PowerPoints in both our shed and house, fixed the electrical problem with our oven, installed a beautiful new fan in our living area. Fraudulent business practices - installed cheaper light switches & smaller circuit board. Supplied & installed 8 point electrical circuit breaker board with 4 active points. Quoted for the bigger board (12). The unanswered question is WHY quote a system very very excessive to my needs? Offered the few dollars on purchase price difference but its the higher labour costs that are not being addressed. Installing 4 points vs 12 points are very different Mick, quotes are per job basis, not hourly rates.

Why quote a 12 point knowing only 4 are needed? I live in a Relocatable home in a seniors park not a large home or acreage so electrical expansion needed for pool, solar, farming sheds etc won't apply here. So why quote on a circuit board way excessive to my needs To Scam customers is the logical answer

Electrician aware of the "QUOTE CONTENT " as he mentioned what was quoted on when I tried to make a minor change on the first few hours into job start. Shame he FAILED to follow his own lead when he chose to install a smaller system than his employer quoted on & I PAID FOR!

After complaining - Mick wants to charge me $150 for a roof inspection I needed because his tradie removed my roof to access wiring. Had this exposed my home to future roof leaking? (It's a Relocatable home, a like a large caravan given the external structure is same as a regular caravan.)

There was absolutely NO prior discussion about removing the roof at any time. Why else would I have been upset about the roof removal if I had expected this to happen! Your inability to state the issues with honestly is noted.

The roof issue is important knowledge living in a dwelling similar to a caravan. At quote time I was told they would go under the building. Why say that if you had no intention of completing the work by accessing under the building? Maybe your workers took the easier path for themselves so they didn't have to squeeze into the smaller work space.

Then there was the customer blaming - I should have checked the quote before I approved it. No Mick, you should have installed the products you quoted on or quoted me on the smaller board. This is on YOU. There were other red flags such as not having the higher priced 'slim' power points in the service vehicles. Didn't get any offer of a discount after installing the cheaper products (10) in my home.

The lies keep coming. Multiple messages back forth Mick claims he is trying to resolve issue without any actual conversation on how he proposes to do this.
Meaningless words Mick without any actual facts or promises. Never recommend or use them again.

Future customers need to know you don't deliver or make the issue right with appropriate resolutions with your 'mistakes'. Lucinda

PS. Mid February - Electrical oven installed recently (was gas) & needed electrical wiring from circuit box to kitchen. The conduit went underneath the dwelling so it is possible Mick, you just took the easy path & went in via the roof but charged me for the extras that you did not make. Ripping off elderly customers, shame on you.

Sparc Electrical were fantastic. Ritchie came a few times for different jobs, new fan, new oven (hard wired) and completed the jobs quickly and efficiently. Ritchie was great, professional and friendly and did such a great job. Would not hesitate to use this business again for all our electrical needs, highly recommended - 5 stars!

Very impressed with their service, starting with Cherie who took charge of trying to get Mick to call and look at a problem in my metre box to see if it was a quick fix or if he’d have to return later to investigate further. When she was unable to get him she kept me informed by text. Mick turned up about 10-15 minutes later and it was as I suspected a quick fix, replacing a faulty safety switch that wouldn’t reset.

I’ve been looking for a good local electrician since my previous one moved away from Brisbane. So now I’m glad I found one.

From quoting through to installation the team were very professional and polite. The boys took their boots off inside and put drop sheets down and cleaned up after themselves. I was consulted every step to ensure the units were installed exactly where and how I would like. Would not hesitate to recommend Sparc Electrical for aircon supply and install.
