Fantastic Service, I have tried the rest and Found The Best Speedy Spanners, I love my car and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to look after her. My Husband is the same with his Vehicles and he will only trust them too. We actually travel to use them because they are so good. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Been bringing both cars for services here. Most recently purchasing a second hand car and had it serviced in May here. In service wasn't picked up the symptoms of low transmission oil. Something that is supposed to be checked in a service is the fluid levels according to other mechanic websites they check transmission fluid in a minor/essential service for reference. This was pointed out to us from a friend driving in the car instantly last week and told to get filled and check for leaks before ruining the transmission which is costly in long run. Having just had a baby and both off work can't afford huge problems if a small one fixed now.

Regardless of the fact they missed the fluid level check , noises and other symptoms in the earlier service went into shop to ask to book in transmission fluid check with dipstick as to hard for regular person to get to otherwise would have done myself and top up if needed and if any other leaks evident to see if seal needed replacing. Told they would call before doing any work.

After dropping off got a call about all the servicing they could do spark plugs service, coils service and transmission service?. Said multiple times no just wanted the fluid and leaks checked and told was to hard to check. I said fine if that means a transmission service then just that one do but before they did just that one service not all 3 services what was the quote for one? just had a newborn baby and tight on cash. Got a quote for all three services for over $1200 ?! just went back to the shop to pick up the car as wasn't after multiple different services , which is not what we asked for , the car just had a service 4 months ago. To put it simply they were just not listening .

Got to the shop, said thanks but no thanks to all the services politely as huge cost and not what we had asked for. Then said bill was $130. Ok surprised as hadn't been told any work had occurred so could we know what for , then while the reception was in the process of asking us did anyone not call to ask to do a diagnostic check which is a plugging a computer in which we didn't ask for , (computer diagnostic check isn't looking at the car for leaks and transmission dipstick check) another woman came over in an aggressive manner to carry on that we have to pay for their time. Feeling upset and scared just asked for the apparent diagnostic report to be given to us as it hadn't and we will pay and be on our way just to get out of there. Awful and stressful ordeal.

Feedback to the business to improve.
1. Listen to the customer what they brought the car in for
2. Do not do any work and charge for it that the customer didn't ask for. I understand you have a business to run and need to get paid for your time.
3. Rude and aggressiveness is bad customer service

We certainly wont be coming back but do hope you improve for others and hope this feedback helps

speedy spanners is hands down the best mechanic shop I’ve ever been to. As a young female there is that stigma of getting ripped off at a mechanic but I’ve never felt uncomfortable at speedys, they always communicate and explain what’s wrong and how to fix it. They always fit me in, in a timely manner and and genuinely so kind. I will never go to a another mechanic shop and strongly strongly recommend them to anyone and everyone!!

Lisa ,Brendan and the team have gone above and beyond in service and communication for us . We broke down not far from their garage and their help and response was fantastic. They found the problem and communicated with us the diagnosis and the costs all the time .
The service was fantastic , the team in the office were lovely and polite .
We would not hesitate to recommend the service we received on our vehicle . It is soo good to have a mechanic service that provides this .. like finding a good doctor !!

Lovely staff. Super helpful and friendly. We are travelling and needed room to park caravan whilst car was getting a service and they have a large area at the back that was perfect. Female mechanic was excellent and explained any issues to us in person. There is a great waiting area with Cafe on site too. Highly recommend!!!
