What a beautiful church. Simple yet elegant this church represents what is the Greek Orthodox hierarchy and all its followers

Built circa 1989 this church serves the local Canterbury community though also attracts parishioners from all over Sydney.

The iconography is beautiful and the premises well maintained. The building is well ventilated and air conditioned.

It is located in the heart of inner SYDNEY on old Canterbury road with plenty of street parking on the Main Street and in the local area.

The priest provides a lovely sermon and appears approachable.

Such a lovely church which caters for all ceremonies including weddings christenings funerals and normal Sunday church services. There is s preschool adjacent to the church which caters to under five years of aged children.

A beautiful ornate, building. We have attended Wedding, funerals and christenings here in this stunning local, community church. The church is always overflowing with people and has a warm, friendly community feel about it. The bench seating is reasonably comfortable. This church is very well maintained

Do not get married at this church. Got married in February 2019. It is now reaching October 2019 and my marriage is still not registered with the Births Deaths and Marriages so I cannot get my official marriage certificate to change my last name. Over the 7 months I have made many attempts to call, email, and fax the priest with no response. My husband has personally gone to the church to speak with the priest but he is always saying to come back at a certain time and then the priest has already left the church. This has happened on more than 3 instances. The one time that he was able to get the priest was via a drive by and he quickly got his attention as the priest was about to leave the church. We were told that he would send in the papers.It has been 2 weeks since this visit and the registry have told me that they still haven't received anything. I called the secretary at the church today who informed me that he has now gone on holidays to Greece and won't get back until October. This is an absolute joke. I should have known to not get married here when we attempted to contact the priest on more than 5 occasions to get our marriage papers ready before the wedding.
