I picked up my parcel from Kalgoorlie branch yesterday.
Their staff advised me I could have it returned because by the look of it, it may be damaged.

That person explained that small parcels such as this were thrown on to a conveyor and poured into a freight cage for transport. No care was taken to protect the parcel or its contents. No consideration was taken to ensure heavy items did not crush light items.

I ask you StarTrack Perth, would you be happy receiving your parcel in this condition? Would you deem how you pack the cages as appropriate care being taken of people’s parcels that may contain fragile and expensive items, that they have paid you to safely transport?

What if I go find your marketing standards where you promise to move our items safely and with care? And publish that here along with these photos of my parcel that I received after you “met” your promised standards🤔

Do you think you should continue in the freight transport game after this?

I missed a delivery while I was working and was instructed to arrange pick up at the depot. Not much of an issue except for their incredibly inflexible opening hours. So I had to consider taking time off work.

My first visit to the depot was exactly 6 days after receiving the calling card. It wasn't planned on my part, I just happened to finish work earlier than usual. Although frustrating, I understand when they told me that my parcel wasn't ready.

The worker gave me information that I learnt much later was wrong, on how to proceed. I had to arrange pick up via phone or online. I was not told at all that I had a 10 day window, after first initial delivery, to arrange pick up. I was told instead that, once requested, I had a 10-day window to pick up the parcel before it was sent back to sender.

So, when I knew I had time off work again, I tried calling the number. The automated voice said that I was 38th in the queue, that my estimated wait time was over an hour. Frustrating but I checked the website instead. The online process was smooth, and I received confirmation that my request was submitted.

So, the next day, 20 days after the initial delivery, I visited the depot a second time. A different worker served me. He said that my parcel won't be ready that day and would be ready tomorrow. As you can imagine, it was an incredibly frustrating experience. Because now I have to arrange another time off work to drive all the way to the airport.

I wasn't sure when I could take off work again, so I asked if I could extend the 10-day hold, and they were adamant that no, and it was actually 9 days because even though it won't be ready until tomorrow, the 10 days counted from the day I came in. It was so frustrating, but the worker was firm that nothing could be done and that I had 9 days to collect it.

But all this was absolutely pointless because I found out much later that my parcel was already sent back to sender 13 days after initial delivery. The first worker failed to inform me of my time limit. The second worker just straight up lied to me.

But I didn't know this, so again, I had to arrange more time off work. I visited the depot a third time 27 days after initial delivery. From what the second worker told me, I was very positive my parcel would be there waiting for me. After all, he said 9 days, and it had only been 7 days.

I cried in my car when the third worker told me that my parcel was already sent back, and even received by sender before my second visit.

I would give 0 stars if I could. This has been the worst delivery experience in life. StarTrack, you need to re train your staff, or update your policies, or be clearer on your website and calling cards, or have a more accessible number. Because this was disgustingly unprofessional and not ok

It doesn't mean their service is worth one star, it's because I couldn't choose zero stars to leave a review.
Wait at home for the whole afternoon, and they said no one was in attendance and left in Au post, The next day went to collect, but the parcel was still held by the driver, they would deliver it today, waiting another whole afternoon, now shows it has been sent to Au post. Thanks, StarTrack, you made my day🙃

Should have a 0 star options for those people working there.

From delivery to trying to pick up the parcel, every step is a joke from all the different employees.

They nearly think we work for them.

Don't you worry all, a robot will do your job 10 time better than you in less than 5 years...and you will be jobless...

am very disappointed with the service of the StarTrack driver in the Mount Lawley area. On October 5, at around 500 Beaufort Street, the driver once again left a “missed delivery” note without even attempting to ring the bell. This is not the first time it has happened—this repetitive pattern of skipping the actual delivery and leaving a card instead is incredibly frustrating and unacceptable.

We rely on delivery services for convenience, not to have to repeatedly go to the post office to collect packages that should have been delivered to our door. This kind of service does not meet the standards we expect from a reputable company like StarTrack. Please address this issue with your drivers to ensure they follow proper delivery protocol in the future.

Paid $35 delivery, they didn't deliver as no one home.
Rang them arranged redelivery.
Didn't deliver
Tried redelivery online form twice, didn't work, asked for mobile phone number although I filled that out.
Waiting on phone for 20 minutes to try and arrange redelivery for a second time.
Clearly a mismanaged company.
Quite hopeless.
Unfortunately can't leave a zero star

Not a good or easy experience:
1) No notice (text or email) that parcel will be delivered.
2) Card (see photo) suggests that parcel is ready for collection (similar to Australia Post service). However, after a 40km round trip it turned out not to be possible and staff not helpful and had to make alternative arrangements.
3) Online tracking not showing accurate information (i.e. showing “awaiting collection” when it was actually scheduled for re-delivery (as confirmed by customer support agent).
4) Telephone help system not friendly at all (very tedious, not recognising tracking number, support agent drops call without any conversation, ….)
5) Online help form appears to have glitch (e.g. keeps on returning an “ Enter a valid date” error even for a 4 day future date selection).
6) Etc. Etc.

I did not receive a courtesy phone call before the delivery, which is unacceptable. When I went to the depot to pick up my parcel, I was informed that it was located elsewhere, requiring me to make another trip. This level of customer service is unprofessional. A phone call prior to delivery is a standard expectation, and I am disappointed by the lack of communication and professionalism in this situation.
