Last days of Autumn, Stinger Net is out until December. Area offer's great views and Sandy beaches all year round.

It is wonderful to see that the Mission Beach community provides 2 of these safe swimming areas (at Mission and South Mission). The sea here is so inviting but the threat of Crocs and Stingers makes it risky, unless you out for the safety of the nets. Hopefully you can get there when there are no or few others, so that it does not feel like you are swimming in the local public pool.

So many things can kill you in FNQ. If correctly maintained, stinger nets can extend your life expectancy. Before entering the water, make sure the nasties are on the outside of the net.
