I’ve had nothing but good experiences from here,I’ve been to other practices in Cairns where the service was absolutely terrible,I have a inherited iron overload and am extremely terrified of needles , every injection is an act of absolute mental trauma!

This is normally an efficient place, however I have been sitting here near 45mins. A client went in before me when they clearly came in after me. One staff member seems to be too busy with socializing. A person with a baby is still waiting and God knows how long they have been waiting for. This is not acceptable, people have other appointments or even work to get to.

Thurs, 14/7/2022. Very disappointed. Attended rooms to have a blood test so that my specialist could make arrangements at Cairns Hospital for me to have a core biopsy asap. Arrived at 5.35pm internet says clinic supposedly closed at 6pm. Not a soul in sight. Gently knocked on a closed door simply to find out if someone was in attendance. A young lass emerged and was not attending to anyone. Had forgotten my mask so informed her going to car for it. Only took a minute and on return was told she did not have time to do test, had so much to do and was on her own and that I needed to return Saturday, was that ok. Said not really as internet said rooms closed at 6 and not 5.36. Any other occasion would not have mattered to me but this time things were urgent. Obviously this lass needed to be out and on way home by 6 pm. Gone are the days when employees would consider working in their own time to pack up and do the right thing for those who were in need of a service. Perhaps extra training would be of benefit to this lass.

Attended the drive through COVID Testing. Staff were run off their feet processing two lanes of incoming traffic in the heat. Their process was meticulously, each staff member had an allocated role which made our experience very quick. Wait time for results was 2/3 days. Just wanted to say thank you to your front line staff.

I would like to share my point of view from a review placed by Frances. On 13/06 Thursday I visited, I arrived at 510 after (I finished work) and I was second in line, knowing they closed at 6 I was aware I may not be seen but the lovely young lady was still happy to do my blood tests and urine samples.
My bloods had a lot that needed to be entered and one I needed to pay for. It was nearing closer to 6 and I could tell the lady had a lot to do, she stayed calm and cracked a few jokes which was helpful as I was feeling nervous.
Approx 540 someone came in and banged on the closed door, the young lady called out she was with someone and had no response, the young lady opened the door and told the elderly person she was with someone. Few minutes later the young lady had to pop out of the room to grab something, when she went outside she explained politely to the elderly lady she wont be able to get her bloods done today as she was still with someone and it will take some time. The elderly lady responded in anger and abuse.
The young lady returned to the room and kept a professional face and completed my bloods.
So I would like to give the young lady (name I can't remember) 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
And I'd like to give Frances Crupi (from Google reviews) 1 star ⭐

I went in at 6am and did have to wait a little while as it can be busy at this hour as listed however the waiting area is comfortable and there is a television to watch to pass the time.
Plenty of on street parking if the car park is full which it was on my visit.
Staff are very friendly and very professional as well.
A convenient location rounds out the favourable rating.

Ouch! The phlebotomist here jammed the needle up my vein like she had a grudge. My arm hurt for hours afterwards. I've had plenty of blood tests before but never had a painful one until this experience.

According to the website, the Woree clinic opens at 7.00am Saturday morning. The sign on the door says CLOSED Saturday.
Update your opening hours on the website as ringing is a waste of time.
