Got 8 Bessemer base pots recoated. At the time of getting a quote, a disclaimer was made that the outside of the pot may fade in colour only - which I understood.
However, at pick-up, I was shocked to see that the outside of the Bessemer pots were so dirty and were not like that before I sent these in for a re-coat. I was advised by the manager (Billy), that the recoating process caused the awful black stains and he was completely dismissive and rude that there was nothing else that could be done (ie giving the pots a wash to remove the stains or placing a protective item around the outside before doing the recoat). Later on, I spoke to Michelle in customer services via phone call, who acknowledged the situation and provided good customer service. Michelle advised that there was not enough manpower to clean the outside of the pots.

From the pictures, you can note that the original colour is the lid (which we did not get a recoat on), while the lower base is now a horrible dirty colour.

Overall a very negative customer experience with Billy, who was so awful.

These guys are great. They're a big industrial coatings company that still has time for the small jobs. I had a safety grill from a commercial dough mixer (mild steel with a nickel plate coating) that was quite badly rusted that needed restoration to keep it safe for food use. I looked at getting it re-chromed but was cost prohibitive, and was difficult to find any company interested in doing it. Surface Technology have a small sideline in resurfacing cookware, which proved to be a great solution for my grill. It looks great, is a way better finish than I had anticipated, food safe and was quite affordable. Highly recommended

Took one of my older non-stick frypans which was completely wornout (And hence no longer used) to get resurfaced. They did a fantastic job and it was good as new with a new layer of teflon. Its been around half a year since it was done and the frypan is still going well. Definitely worth the money! Better than buying a new one (Cheaper than a new good quality pan and better quality than a cheaper quality pan of similar price) AND better for the environment as we are keeping out more from landfill. They dont do orders immediately as they stock up multiple customers orders until theres enough to do a run, so sometimes if you're lucky it might be the next day, but other times, you might have to wait a couple of weeks. We waited around 10 days
