I had the worst experience ever, I ordered a vegan strawberry cake from them for my birthday. Spent about $180, when we cut the cake at birthday it was so hard, was impossible to cut, hard as rock. You could taste burnt bottom layer and feel the dryness, and the cake was as hard as a rock with no moisture at all. Next day I took the cake back to show the sweetly simple shop, the manager was extremely rude to me, and said this is how we make our vegan cakes. No refund at all

Poor customer service – they didn’t listen, failed to call back when promised, and we had to constantly follow up. They made the product before confirming final payment, despite earlier discussions. Pricing was excessive – they charged more than double what we typically pay elsewhere for edible imaging and attempted to charge double the amount for simple round cut-outs. To make matters worse, the final product was subpar: several images were cut off on the side of the sheet because it wasn’t laid out correctly. Overall, not happy and won’t be returning.

Ordered a birthday cake two days ahead emailed and called twice to confirm order and date/time of pick up. It hadn't been made and the lack of communication and service was disappointing. Used to be my go to cake shop for birthdays.

Bought a few trays of slices. And tbh I was so disappointed. The chocolate on top was so thick that it was sickly. And I just thought how can these slices that were ridiculously priced come out of a professional cake shop? Won’t be going back.

I recently had what is consider the worst customer service experience here. I ordered a cake for my pops 80th and the man serving was very rude and uninterested in our business from the beginning. From the moment we walked in he made us feel like we were annoying him for being there and gave us little to no info and it’s not like we were being difficult in any way just our presence was enough to piss this guy off. I wanted to walk out simply from how rude this man was but my nan really wanted a cake from here so we got the $70 cake. When the cake was later collected by someone else they also mentioned their similar rude experience with this same man. The cake was ok but writing was in pink, which again just reflects the bad customer service and lack of interest and respect of what we wanted. If you hate your job and your customers so much then just quit that simple.

Couldn't be happier with the service here, hands down the most warm and welcoming cake shop I've ever been to. Ordered a custom cake and it is better than what I'd imagined

Collected a cake ordered 2 days prior. Cake decorated with rotten and mouldy strawberries. Complained to staff who claim their cakes are made fresh each day. Very disappointed, especially as strawberries are in season and abundant right now. No refund or exhange offered either. 1 Star Review. Will not return or recommend.
