Whenever I go to a new country, city or town, I like to see a park or gardens and this place is fantastic. It's a big open space if you want to go for a walk, run, sit down and chill, read a book or just be one with the soil.
I went to another park in Melbourne and I have to say it seems Australians know how to keep green spaces because this place was immaculate. Compliments to the groundsmen.
Sydney park is a big space, it took me several hours to walk about the place. If you're a big fan of parks, you can't go wrong with Sydney park 😊

Park in the lot opposite the Sydney park apartments and enter the park from there in order to access the big kids play area (including slides, rope climbing, rock climbing etc). There are other parts of the park for skating and dog walking. Plenty of doggos playing around and making new friends. Big park overall, perfect for cycling or running too.

Located at 416 Sydney Park Road, Alexandria, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺. A great park which is very well maintained and a wonderful place to walk around. It’s very dog friendly even at the cafe which has treats for dogs 🐕 but there’s not many toilets which means we had to queue for a while. This was not thought out enough when designing the park. It’s wheelchair accessible which was great for our group as we had a couple of people in wheelchairs. There’s a wonderful children play area and skateboarding area. The big lakes are really pretty and nice to walk around. Thumbs Up! 👍👍👍👍

Very progressive and forward thinking community minded green patch of space inside the Sydney urban jungle. The dog owners here get a bit out of hand to be honest due to the forgotten dog turds and off-leash dogs roaming around. Cycling here is not nice since the off-leash dogs mindless cross your path and the owner could not be bothered to control their dogs. I was here exercising once and a random dog just came and broke my training gear thinking it is a toy. Other than the widespread rudeness of dog owners here, the park's wetland is very peaceful! There is also a community garden that has a bunch of nice veggies to look at.

I had the most pleasing and relaxing time here. The whole park is unleashed park (of course not in the kid's playground) and the beautiful sceneries and lots of shade spaces to just sit back and relax.
I went to spend my weekend with my four children and two puppies. Everyone was really happy. Definitely going back very soon. 👍🏻

Best park in the city for dog owners! Dogs can play and walk safe unleashed. Many benches if you wanna sit down and relax, and a cafe inside too!

Really beautiful park. Some historical features, a cafe, playgrounds and picnic areas. Great viewing spot of the city. Great for kids and dog friendly. Not super accessible by public transport. Also very few toilets, you’ll most likely be queuing for a while and bring your own toilet paper as they ran out early!

Gorgeous park with ample areas to explore with your dog. You’re able to have your dog off leash throughout the whole park and during the afternoons there are plenty of fur friends around. The big hill is perfect for a picnic and city views and there is also a multi purpose oval and skate/cycle area. Also surprised to find that the park is lit at night through some of the main walking areas. We visited after 10pm and found there was no one around but it was still pleasant for a walk.
