Worked there for 2 months or so, after selling my own pool shop. 15 years experience.
Have been chasing, and getting the runaround re my Super entitlements. Keep being told " accountant has paid it".
Unfortunately, my super company has no record of any payments. I finished in April, it should have been paid in July at latest. Owners might seem friendly towards staff and Customers.
Though deep down ripping people / staff off.
Hate doing this review, as I love the pool industry, I made a commitment that all my staff that taxes and super where paid first, when I went into business.
I've been told check ATO, they've had nothing, although I believe are investigating this company.

Again, I hate writing this, but I hope other staff don't cop the same rubbish as I have .
Be wary if you get a job here.

I will wait for the bad response from owners. When it comes, I will share all emails, texts etc going back months of promised payments.

I was visited by Connor a couple of days ago, as we've just purchase a house with pool on the GC. It's been 15 years since I've maintained a backyard pool and Connor stepped me through the procedures as he tested the pH, cleaned the pool filter and skimmer box. He just had to put some acid into the water and all was good. I was impressed with his knowledge, proficiency and professional manner in getting the job done. After a very dissapointing experience at our local pool shop (spending almost $4k on an ozone system and new filter etc. and then being ridiculed by the owner for buying it when we came in to ask questions about it) and watching our pool go green while the shop that installed it offered no help we were pointed towards Tallai pool shop. Alex and the team were and have been amazing and we are happy to travel the extra distance for the second-to-none service received here. Couldn't recommend them any higher.

I responded to the positive google reviews for this pool shop and they were not wrong. I received very quick service. Needed my 20 yr old pool pump replaced. I was impressed with the honest assessment for the pool needs, rather than just trying to upsell me a product I didn't need. Excellent team work and I intend to continue using them even though I live a few suburbs away

These guys are absolute legends. Wish we had of found them sooner. So honest and have all the time in the world to answer all your questions. We had another pool company out when we were having issues that only cleaned the pool and didn't fix the problem. Got Tallai Pools out and they located major issues with our filter system. Replaced everything that was needed at an extremely good price and now our pool is sparkling again. Thanks so much!

Tallai pool shop serviced my pool, not long after the pool cleaner stoped working. I phoned and told the owner the story. He then said he was very busy and would send someone in a few days. They had to come twice to fix their mistake. And then I was given a bill. !!! He then said that he couldn't keep sending this staff back to repair my pool.
They said the pool cleaner was stuck on the drain. Very strange, for 2 years it has never been stuck.
Very bad customer service. I will not be using this pool shop again. This owner is social unacceptable

It's always a pleasure dealing with Alex and the team at Tallai Pool Shop. Prices and products have always been great, best of all never have we had a situation of any of the staff trying to upsell on products that are not required.
