Dishonest plumbers. Told me that the works were really big and complicated. Fixed the pipe leak and sent the invoice. When I queried the invoice I was told a huge long story to justify his 30 minutes of work. I called them out and he laughed after finding out I was an builder and cut the bill in half.

Booked the day before for an early 8 am slot. Plumber didn’t show up and so I rang to enquire when he would be there. Apparently he had been double booked. When he did show up an hour late he didn’t have the equipment to do the job - this after I had explained the job when I booked. Wanted to charge an additional $260 more for the same job that Tap Doctor had done only 7 months ago. Wanted me to hang around for 4 hours in the afternoon when the equipment would be available. You can’t expect people to wait up to a whole day when you actually book 24 hours beforehand. Unreliable and disappointing service. I declined the job after being given the run around. I have used them many times before.
