Posting about Target as a whole and not Brookside. Brookside Target is lovely and staff are great and very nice.

I wouldn't order online with Target after my experience this month. Placed an order and they just cancelled it without even notifying me. So I'm waiting for my order thinking it will arrive and it would never turn up and I wouldn't never know until it's too late. In their receipt email they say if you haven't received a confirmation email within 24-48 hours to give them a call. Store couldn't tell me what had happened, they didn't have record of my order. This call took 15 minutes. Waited on the phone for a further 25 minutes with customer service (if I had 40 minutes to spare this time of year, I wouldn't need to online shop for Christmas!!) and when I got through, customer service advised my order had been cancelled but they couldn't tell me why!!! Very poor customer service experience online shopping. Never again! Target has lost my Christmas custom.

On another note, Big W and Kmart made things very easy to order online and I have had no issues!

What on EARTH is the point in going to Target when it’s is literally just Kmart?! I just came from Kmart to find a different selection of products only to find Targets range has been replaced by Kmarts ‘Anko.’ What a waste of a store. What is the point of Target anymore? What a poor selection for Australian consumers who have lost a major anchor store. 3 reduced to just 2. I’m so disappointed.

Awesome store layout and plenty of helpful staff assistance available when needed to locate specific online items or check if items were in stock. Will return again!

Very rude, spoke to me as if i was meant to know that what I was purchasing had been dumped in the wrong spot, so there fore the discount did not apply.. no apologies, treated as if I was a pain and i shouldve known, they had absolutely no time..just attitude and tone. Got told gruffly they don't have time to monitor things. This is my local, I won't be going back..

An excellent spacious department store to brouse in! Clothing & bedding plus electrical equipment! Dvd's & Cds! Friendly & efficient service provided! Wheelchair access is available plus parking outside the Brookside Shopping Centre! At the moment there are great red, black or white boots on sale!

I am a support worker and i visited this target with my client. We had originally purchased something and then returned it once we had realised it was damaged. To compensate, the brookside target had given us a gift card worth the amount we paid as they didn’t have the stock to replace our item. Today, i returned with my client to cash in the gift card and the card, however the card we were given was faulty. As we tried to look at the pin to pay for the items, the print underneath hadn’t been printed properly and was unable to read. The staff then denied us the purchase although it was their fault for supplying a faulty card. Despite the two of us trying our best to resolve this matter, the workers didn’t want a bar of it. I am absolutely appalled at the service and attitude we were given. It is disgusting that just because we may appear younger we are spoken down to and not taken seriously. I feel horrible for my client who was completely ripped off.

Appreciation review. We come here weekly as a default with our 5 year old. Store is always immaculate, well-stocked and organised. Even the kids section, which is chaos at the best of times. Staff always helpful and happy. Skip Kmart/Big W.
