Free entry and right next to Perth station, that’s a win in itself! Loved the exhibits especially Sandra Black’s ceramic artwork. There was an area to do water painting as well which my children enjoyed. Quiet, comfortable space overall.

You walk around the city and it’s too hot, get into the art gallery and enjoy all the artwork here!

P/S: I wish they have a cafe or little juice bar at the rooftop during the day! ✨

they don’t let you bring in any bags so they store it at the entrance and give you a key/token thingy which is understandable but i got dehydrated from no water and had to leave before realizing there was another upper level. whatever i’ll go again another day xd not like it’s busy or anything

allat aside there is a lot of interesting art here and the admission is free so go have a look and stroll through. many stories and artistic colorfulness in many mediums

Interesting architecture with hexagonal and triangular rooms, displaying aboriginal and local artists. We got a great tour by Adrienne, who told interesting stories about several objects, making them come alive. Nice view over the city from the rooftop. We also visited the Time * Rone exhibition, a collection of 12 scenes displaying workplaces frozen in time.

When I visited on a weekday, it was quiet and seemed quite peaceful. Thanks to that, I was able to focus and enjoy the exhibits calmly. The staff were all friendly, and there were many high-quality pieces available to view for free. I felt grateful that a place like this exists in Perth
