As an 11 year old who ADORES jerky and other meats, this place was heaven! You're allowed to have samples before buying your meat, and you get a fair amount of bites for a sample. The workers are gold, having conversations and just kind in general. The lady there complimented my love for different meats which made me happy. The only thing is I think you could get a bit more product for $5.00.

So Impressed with Lodewyk and his company. I am visiting from WA and my hubby flown in from overseas. We asked for Biltong and Droewors to be delivered to our hotel. He was friendly, communitive and delivered personally on the day requested. And the Biltong was great too. Thank you so much xx

Absolute best Biltong and Boerewors shop in Burleigh. Found them a couple of months ago and now come weekly to get their hand made South African meats. Friendly owner and staff. Drop into their outdoor container shop next to Oporto at Stocklands Burleigh and support these guys. You will hooked like my son and I are.

Seriously the best Biltong. I've tried some of the biggest brands in jerky & biltong (jerky co, 4 hunters, barbell foods etc). Generally their biltong is insanely salty (and I love my salt).

Biltong boss is on another level completely. I'm not south African, but you can tell this is authentic and the way it should be, it's delicious and goes great with a glass of whisky too ?.

First time trying droewars too, their also tasty and worth buying if you have never had.
Will be buying again and checking out the new shop in pimpama!!!

The staff were so friendly today when we walked past. I had my Staffy with me and she could smell the deliciousness of the shop from a mile away. She dragged me to the shop where the very friendly gentlemen let her try different types. Highly recommend the staff are amazing and will definitely be back. Great treat for the human and pups to enjoy!

He not only makes the best biltong I've ever tasted, but is also more than happy to chat about how it's made and/or pretty much any topic under the sun with the same enthusiasm. I got my dad just a little under 1.5kg of biltong from here cause I heard such great reviews and the reviews don’t lie!! He is enjoying it so much so that my mom has to beg him to share with her! They both said it’s the best biltong they’ve had since moving to Australia and they are so picky with Biltong. It looked so good and I can’t wait to try some next month when we are in Aus!
