Needing a great coffee and on point food. Then look no further. Had a spare hour before work. In desperate need of a great coffee. Bonus Classic B n E English muffin with cheese, caramelised onion? & BBQ sauce. Was the BEST I have ever had. No joke. Crispy bacon, JAMMY egg, (who does that ❤️) melt n texture was perfect. Attention to detail even on a simple dish like B n E muffin (Homemade?) Make a beeline for one of Canning Vales superb representation of all of the above. Luke & his team are faithfully serving this community and those like me, who is now out of zone . Come back even after an extensive absence and I am delighted that The Roastery is still nailing it with one swing! Buzzing local cafe ticking all my boxes today. Thanks Luke!

Went for lunch with a group of people. Table we picked still had 12 coffee cups that hadn't been taken away.. So we placed onto another table that hadn't been cleared. We as a group have been for breakfast a few times and enjoyed it. I chose the Warm Pumpkin Salad and a coffee was lovely . Everybody else enjoyed their lunch.

Roastery and cafe. It has a spacious indoor dining area. It was a busy day with long queue and thus service time. Unfortunately, one of the order was wrong which was important as it's a gluten-free option that was ordered. They apologised, served the correct dish thereafter. The beef brisket was rather dry, making it difficult to eat after awhile. Excellent coffee as a roastery. Nice place for catch up with friends, comfortable seats

Good for a nice breakfast!

We had a couple of coffees they were so good they didn't need sugar.

Also had a toasted crossaint as well as a breakfast burrito.
Both were really good...worth going back for.

The coffees are a little more dollar wise, but the food was cheaper so it worked out well.

Go in and enjoy!

Best coffee in town and has a unique taste to their blend . I never miss my day off to grab a cup from them. Also they have amazing breakfast and brunch menu , don’t miss out on their sweet potato chips. Love this place .

Have been visiting this restaurant for years with my husband as we live closeby. Decided to bring my parents and kids here as they came over to visit and I was very disappointed with the service this morning.

Came in and ordered around 9am, asked for 2 roastery breakfast one with poached eggs and one with scrambled eggs, 1 eggs on toast with scrambled eggs, 1 ham and cheese croissant, 3 hot chocolate and 2 cappuccino.

When the roastery breakfast was delivered and there was a separate plate of scrambled eggs, I asked what was that for and she said hold on I got the order wrong sorry I will refund you for the scrambled eggs but you will have to go to the counter and make payment for the other roastery breakfast that was left out. My mum went to make payment and asked for the receipt this time.

The roastery breakfast was brought over after awhile and when I was about to start eating, the staff walked back to the table again and said sorry then took away the food without any explanation. Staff brought the plate back to the kitchen and had a discussion with the chef then brought the plate out again to another table.

Went to the counter after afew minutes as no explanation was given to me and I asked for the manager. Manager said "Im sorry but It is not her fault. The refund was already given. The chef left the food on the counter without a docket and staff delivered the plate but the chef did not ring the bell. The chef just wanted to check and make sure that the food went to the right table." I told the manager that this is not right and she said she has already spoken to the staff.

Went back to sit then decided to go back to the counter to get a refund instead as at this point everyone was already more than halfway done with their food but mine has not arrived. Was waiting in line but got called back to the table by my kids as the staff finally delivered my food.

In short, from the manager's response, it is not the staff's fault that:
1. Staff took the wrong order.
2. Staff did not check the docket/communicate with the chef and confirm before sending the food to the table.
3. Food that was delivered to the table was taken back without any explanation given.

$7.50 for a large flat white in my own cup which was not even half full when I received it.
I was not impressed at all.
Ordered a baby chino and it was not even served with a straw. My 6 year old was not impressed either.

I understand everyone’s operating costs vary, most places charge $5.50 and my cup is full.

However the coffee did taste good, will I be back?
I don’t think so.
