My friend bought a $199 value meat pack and it was very disappointing. The mince had ao much fat through it that I thought it was pet mince, the pork chops were half marinated and smelt like they were about to go off. The chops tasted like mutton. It wasn't value for money you'd get better in woolies. All seemed like it was put together with things that they needed to get rid of. Just crap.

Really hate to be a Karen and slam a local family business, but some things can’t be forgiven.

Bought a few different combinations of sausage a few days ago (blue cheese and beef, butter chicken, spicy jalapeño)

Flavour was decent, very gristly in some of them. But in my last bite ( last because I threw the rest out)

I bit onto something hard. Pulled it out, and it was a piece of solid plastic. Almost 2 cm in length. The sausages came in plastic bags not in hard plastic, so the plastic 100% came from one of the sausages. Glad it was me who found it and not one of my kids, could have caused some issues if it had of been swallowed.

Have been buying the family meat packs here for the last month or so and they have been consistently awesome! Great value for money and delicious meat! All the staff are friendly and nothing is to much trouble, thanks guys for the great service and produce 😊

We bought some whole scotch fillet. Had a strong smell that stunk out the freezer once opened to cut and no use by date. Were told didn't need a use by date being cryvacced and odour was just gas. Tried some and had the taste of the bad smell, so tried marinating and smoking the meat it still had the taste of the bad odour.

Ordered an 88 dollar pack I seen on FB.
Won't order a pack again. As most I would much prefer to support a local butcher but unfortunately was far from happy with the qaulity .
Clearly the steak was of different qaulity to the stuff on display as they packed the meet out the back from a supply from the cool room out of sight.
The Scotch was chewyand way too much sinue. The rest of the scotch and rump will be used as stewing steak .
That was my experience with the steak from one of the packs. I've yet to try anything else like the burgers or chicken schnitzel etc. Hopefully, there will be some sort of saving grace with the rest of the pack.
