Nichola was the most outstanding host you could ask for. Replied to emails quickly and was on hand within 5 mins when we needed some help on arrival. Beautiful location, with amazing views of the vines. Lovely and peaceful, felt cozy in the cottage. Will definitely be returning to experience the wonderful hospitality at The Sleeping Lady and to enjoy the surrounding area again. Nichola sent us comprehensive information on the chalet and the area before we arrived. It is situated well off the Porongurup Road between fields of vines in Castle Rock vineyard. Stunning views to the Stirling Range (with The Sleeping Lady ridge) from the spacious front verandah. Access was easy, via the back door. We tried to find a gadget, furnishing or anything that was missing, but no - this was the best equipped chalet we've been in, from fizzy wine stopper to adjustable blinds, library and music and video equipment. The bed was very comfortable, and we loved it.

The Sleeping Lady is set in a beautiful location with stunning views. The cottage is extremely comfortable, peaceful and spotlessly clean with everthing you need for your stay.

Cosy, comfortable, well-equipped, two-bed chalet in a quiet, tranquil location, a short drive away from Porongurup Village and walking trails in the National Park. The view from the deck is absolutely stunning, stretching from the vines in front of the chalet all the way to the Stirling Ranges. We also enjoyed a free wine tasting at Castle Rock estate (just a short stroll from the chalet), followed by their yummy local cheese and condiments grazing box, and much appreciated the newly-installed Wi-Fi.

Absolutely a stunning immaculate cottage perched over a vineyard, halfway up the north facing slopes of the Porongurup Range. Amazing views out over the vineyard to the Stirling Range, perfect for night time star gazing and watching the big sky keep changing colours throughout the days and nights.||The cottage is fully self contained, and very well maintained with everything you could want for a short or longer stay. We were on a week long trip around the Great Southern region with three nights spent here, and we had a lot of food with us so the fully equiped kitchen came in very handy for the preparation of meals and storage of food, making it too easy to not leave the property for the day, why leave ?, I know the region has so many attractions but we did chose one of our days to purposely not venture outside the boundary as it’s such a stunning place to be in. I really loved the bush track that goes literally from the front door and heads west past the vineyards, through some forest to eventually meet up with the Granite Skywalk walk track, so yes, your own private Porongurup National Park access to Castle Rock, Balancing Rock and the amazing Granite Skywalk just next door, no need to get in the car, with easy to follow directions and a map in the house manual. This place really left an impression on us and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much to our host Nichola for wanting to share all of this with us. Absolutely loved our stay here.

The Sleeping Lady is a magical retreat with everything you would need for a fabulous break. It is very clean and tidy, excellently equipped and the views outstanding. Nichola the owner is really lovely and communication is brilliant. An absolute gem and we are just so lucky to have been able to stay. The location is peaceful, with the Stirling Ranges, Albany and Denmark within easy reach. OUTSTANDING!

Excellent little cottage located on a vineyard with sprawling estate views with direct views to the Stirling Ranges. Our hosts were fabulous and every little thing was though of. We had fresh baked bread, eggs and milk and the cheese platter was amazing. The electric blankets and wood fire heater were luxurious touches. So much to do around here and this was a great base to explore the region. Look forward to returning soon.

A gorgeous cosy cabin with breathtaking views of The Stirling Ranges. Fully equipped with everything you could possibly ask for. Very clean & a lovely wood fire, prestacked, ready to go.... perfect for our winter stay. Nichola was absolutely fantastic, a lovely welcome text message & checking in to make sure we arrived safely.
