Way to lose long time customers who have been going there for years.

An elderly pensioner couple were there yesterday and went to pay by card and the card declined. Cash was offered but was refused by staff. Surely cash could have been accepted as a once off for the elderly customers.

Oh well, you don’t have to worry about them bothering you anymore as you embarrassed them enough in front of other customers. They are taking their business to Costco from now on for bulk buy.

Do better towards the elderly.

The prices are slightly cheaper on some items but mostly the same prices at the supermarkets except for chicken necks and stick that is going out of date, It’s disgusting that they don’t except cash now and if you ring up on Wednesday afternoon to put a order in to pick up on Friday they tell you it’s too late, they definitely don’t have good customer service. I can ring another company (who also do deliveries all over Newcastle and now Sydney area) for a egg delivery by Wednesday by 11am and the eggs are delivered to my door on the Thursday so why can’t steggles offer a better quicker service for orders that you have to pick up?
