After a lot of searching and wanting to find a good country hotel, we chose The Woolshed Hotel. We were not disappointed with the entire expirence. It is great to get into the country and spend some money in a local town.
Mick and the team do a great job, local hospitality, great food and the rooms were great. We loved the history of the buiding and surrounding areas. All of the locals that came in were also up for a chat. 🙂 Already planning the next trip in a month for a boys weekend. (Dont forget to visit the Army Muesum.)

Drove up from Perth for a night's stay(a thing partner and I do with my in-laws to small country pubs) 1 of th best we have ever stayed at. From th minute we pulled up tol we left the staff and patrons were so friendly. Th food was good, service was great and th owner Mick and his staff were just awesome. Rooms were clean and comfy. Mick even cooked a great brekky for all 4 of us. We'll go back.. thanks woolshed...Bull k...

Stayed the night - such a cool old school pub - everyone was so friendly MIC and family are so lovely running the place like a pub should be - rooms were lovely everything has been tastefully done up to go with the age of the building- just beautiful- definitely going back

As soon as we walked in the door of the pub we knew it was going to be a great place to stay.
The hospitality, food, atmosphere were excellent.
Our room was nice and cosy, having access to the balcony was a lovely bonus, especially to sit with beer on sunset.
This place is the epitome of old country style and hospitality, thanks for a wonderful stay!!

Our group of 6 had a wonderful overnight stay in clean well presented rooms, recently renovated bathrooms and splendid dining area. The Hotel is faithfully restored with a friendly bar providing genuine hospitality.
The dinner was served quickly and was tasty and well presented. Bangers and mash was top class while friends enjoyed a generous T Bone and fish and chips. Good Pub fare. Breakfast is help yourself and has a good variety available at all hours. Well recommended.

We were just looking for accommodation to visit the Nungarin Heritage Museum the next day, so this excellent old pub was a bonus. Fabulous ambience on the verandah on the corner at Nungarin with the sun setting. The manager was helpful and later seemed to run a full bar and take meal orders on his own. We had a great meal in the dining room after ordering over the bar and chatting to locals and other guests. Food for vegetarians is hit or miss in pubs, but this one has several good options. The double room was perfectly comfortable and newly renovated shared bathrooms were smart and clean. The building is largely original with ornate ceilings and a grand staircase.

We organised a memorial for a much-loved family member at this wonderful old pub. We really appreciated the warm welcome and enthusiastic hosting despite giving only last minute notice. ||Nothing was too much trouble, the food generous, beer cold and gardens very well designed and maintained. ||We stayed over in the grand rooms which have been upgraded with modern touches without losing and of the old world charm.

What a great little country pub it has been refurbished and has that old country feel about it. Meals were very generous so you don’t go home hungry. Staff were friendly and welcoming, if your out this way drop in have a few beers and a good meal
