My partner had some parts cut and bent a while ago and the office lady and the guy who did the drawings were super helpful. The job was fantastic but when it came time to pick up the parts the business owner (I believe) was in the office and he was extremely rude and impatient, bordering on abusive, and wouldn't answer any questions, just treated us like we were wasting his time. We'll never get work done at Toowoomba Metal Services again, only because of him.

After dealing with this company for several years I had the misfortune to need a part cut. I had one part made which from no fault of my own the drawing was 10% bigger than it should have been (glitch in the drawing software). I got a quote and had the part made (much more expensive than before). When I discovered the dimensions were out I ordered a second one 10% smaller.

When I went to pick up the second one I asked if the price could be lowered slightly since it was 10% smaller (it was expensive). The salesman went into the managers office and asked. He started swearing his head off at the top of his voice saying that I should be charged more, that I should be expletive, expletive grateful I am not being charged more.

I will never again use their services. Which is a pity because in the early years of getting stuff done they were a great company to deal with. Clearly the issue is the manager.

Unfortunately need to ‘third’ the prior reviews.
I am 100% all for small businesses and I’ve never even left a review before however I feel the need to express my disappoint. Not an ounce of customer service, left me feeling like I was being an annoyance to him (I even provided multiple pictures), he expected I know the lingo and phrases and all I needed was a simple piece cut. Not sure if Gus is the owner of the business or just an employee but definitely needs a customer service attitude adjustment. A real shame

I was not impressed with the unprofessional conduct of Toowoomba Metal Services. I followed up a job on behalf of a colleague and I was yelled at over the phone for wasting their time. I know this doesn't reflect all the staff, but this experience was unwanted and we'll be taking our jobs elsewhere from now onward.

This is a similar sentiment to the others who have reviewed.

I will not be using TMS for any services in the future.

I second the other reviewer, I hardly ever review people/companies and this is my first 1 star awarded to the rude guy who answered the phone and said "I'm sick and tired of guessing, you will have to send me a diagram" this was in response to asking for a quote for 5mm x 1500mm x 500 plate. I'm thinking if he can't visualise that a diagram isn't going to help lol
