Toro electrical, used by Good-Guys as their go to electrical company for installing their products. Simple install it was said to be, Toro himself attended install with another employee, connected the power up to the junction box and proceeded to tell us the oven would need a chippy to install the rest as the oven was the slightest bit too big for the space provided. They left our house with the oven sitting around 50mm out of the wall and didn't suggest who to use. My son and I decided we would do what they couldn't seeing as they said it was an easy job. We fitted the oven in less than 30 minutes, all we did was remove a little big of cabinetry to make do. We were charged an install fee of $250 and Toro left site without even installing the unit properly. Toro electrical difficult to get a hold of. Talk about lazy tradesmen. Imagine an office worker and his son installing something that an electrical company is employed to do. This company doesn't deserve my 1 star, but google wouldn't let me put no stars up. Disappointing service provided. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Upfront was friendly and responsive. After work was done added an additional $200 for 2 hours labour work I did not approve. Agreed with the additional cost providing they complete the second AC install. From there after first invoice was paid never heard from them and was ghosted. Also despite Chris saying on the quote I was eligible for the the $100 voucher, the model Mitsubishi unit that he installed did not even qualify in the promotion. After multiple calls, emails and messenger still no response. As he is a family man I would have thought he would be more honest with his own business. Shame on you Chris! Buyer beware!

Great bunch of tradesmen, very tidy work, punctual and the prices were extremely competitive. The team installed a 7kW and a 2.5kW air conditioner as well as a ceiling fan/light, multiple downlights and a couple of power points. The guys even cleaned up after they finished the work and promptly returned to finish installing a ceiling fan and light a day or so later. Will definitely employ Toro Electrical for any further electrical work required and recommend them to family, friends and anyone reading this review.

I will never use Toro Electrical again. In fact, I'm surprised they're still in business considering how poor their customer service is and how incompetent their air conditioning work seems to be.

Toro Electrical was asked to do a ducted air conditioner fault finding and service in December 2019 on my rental property in Raceview, Ipswich. They turned out to be one of the most incompetent companies I've ever had to deal with, and provided poor customer service.

My tenants reported that the air con wasn't working properly and my usual air con company wasn't available for several weeks. My real estate agent suggested their approved repairer, Toro. I asked them to service the system as it had been about 12 months since the last service and to check for any faults.

I received a bill from Toro for $220, reporting that the air conditioner was in perfect health, with no faults found, and the service was complete.

Two weeks later I had a hole in my ceiling from air conditioner leakage - see attached photo. I was justifiably upset by this and my questions to Chris Toro were:
1. Why wasn't this picked up in the service?
2. What do you actually do as part of the service?

The estate agent arranged for Chris to go over to the house and find the leak. He did that and suggested a rather convoluted fix - lifting the indoor motor, installing a new drain system from under the existing drain system to the gutter of the property and installing some insulation (at a cost of $400). He also told us the previous fix (1 year previously) was a band aid solution. He took absolutely zero responsibility for the leak and ceiling damage, advising me that a normal service does not involve getting up into the ceiling and checking the main ducted air conditioning system that is up there. It seems all they do is clean the filters and the outlet vents. For $220!

I called in the previous company, Chek Air Conditioning. They came out and blew out all the mud that was blocking up the pipes and causing the leak, which had occurred due to a blocked gutter outside. They did this for free, even though their previous repair wasn't 'a band-aid solution'.

Chris Toro charged me $90 for his quote, rerouting pipes and moving internal motors when all it needed was for the mud to be blown out of the system.

He took no responsibility for the so called 'service' that was performed or the fact they missed the leak, just 2 weeks prior.

To this day, he admits zero fault and is asking for his $90 quote fee. I am also left with an expensive ceiling repair and full ceiling repaint.

Toro installed a split system air conditioning incorrectly. I have water running inside my wall. Toro at my home 4 times & it never got fixed. He tried to palm it off as a warranty job. Another business came out to look & it has to be pulled out & reinstalled! The installation was faulty! Chris’s repairs were faulty! Toro Electrical, definitely faulty!
