We had a fantastic stay at Trudies, after a long day on the road it was nice to arrive to such a welcoming amazing B & B, admittedly it was summer and a boiling hot day but Trudie sent us to the local pool for a dip then to the bowls club for a drink and arrived home just in time for a magnificent dinner. We had a lovely night and will stay there again the next time we head North. Spotlessly clean and comfy.

I have stayed twice at Trudi’s BnB. Trudi and family are excellent hosts, and the food is delicious. Trudi is a superb cook. The beds are very comfortable, and the shower is hot. Also located just a short walk to the Henty shops. Highly recommend.

The rooms are very nice and spacious, and the cooking is amazing. The only complaint I have is that it’s in the middle of nowhere. 100% worth the drive, but a tad inconvenient to most. I would recommend staying here it’s super nice. 97.56% Recommend.

5 STAR HOSPITALITY|Enjoyed an overnight stay at Trudy's B&B. in Henty, "Home of the Header". |Henty is located on the Olympic Highway, full of history and deinitely worth a visit. Trudy is a single Mum on a mission to restore the 112-year-old historic hotel and bring it back to its glory days. |Trudy's hard work, commitment and passion will prevail and this grand old lady will continue to provide accommodation, food and 5 star hospitality. A place to put your head down, enjoy yummy chicken and mushroom risotto followed by delicious homemade passionfruit sponge drizzled with lemon curd for dinner and continental breakfast before you head off for the day. Trudy is always available for a chat and to ensure you have everything you need.|Note: arrive before 12 on Saturday as everyone (almost) is at the footy etc and the town is very quiet. However, second hand shops are open and make sure you visit the Art Gallery where talented local artists display their wonderful artwork, paintings, ceramics, jewellery and photographs.|On the highway you will find Daschin a quirky caravan cafe owned and operated by Suzanne, another very friendly local, offering toasties, wraps, coffe, hot chocolate, teas and cakes and slices - definitely recommend the orange and almond cake with a hint of kaffir lime.|It is so important to visit all the little towns off the Hume Highway and relive the history of Australia, meet the wondeful locals and support all these small businesses. These businesses provide long term employment and spending money in these towns will keep them alive and sustainable.

I have had the beautiful pleasure of staying at Trudie’s twice now. A shared secret of a friend on mines, I visited with my family at the end of 2023. The quaint personalized rooms impeccably furnished step you back in time. Trudie and her families welcoming hospitality, and her attention to detail ensure your stay is relaxing and memorable. And then there is the option of Dinner which is next level, beyond expectation deliciousness finished with amazing desert. Henty is a quiet unassuming country town making Trudie’s the perfect getaway. Thank you again for having us. We will be back again soon.

Just had the pleasure of spending the night at Trudy’s Central Hotel B&B, in Henty. Trudy is a lovely hostess and her daughter prepared a delicious evening meal. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and welcoming! Love old pubs and what creative people can do with them. Recommend staying there just for the experience.

I spent a few nights at Trudie’s B&B and did not want to leave. Not only is this an extremely comfortable and accommodating space (wonderful beds, plentiful facilities, exceptional cooling for summer and very quiet), it’s also an establishment filled with history and vintage charm. The rooms are amazing and thematically capture the essence of days gone by - from Art Deco vintage to late 60’s interiors!

Additionally, Trudie makes a 5 star meal (and a 5 star coffee).

Fantastic all round. Great meals, very welcoming, very accommodating, the most comfortable bed I have slept in while travelling and location was perfect.
Can't fault it. Will be back for sure
