I recently purchased muffins from IGA, and I must say they exceeded my expectations! The texture was perfect – soft and moist on the inside with a slightly crispy top, just the way I like it. I tried the blueberry flavor, and the balance between sweetness and the fresh bursts of berries was spot on. Each bite felt indulgent yet comforting, making them perfect for breakfast or a snack any time of the day.

What I loved most was the freshness. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients, and the muffins tasted like they were just baked that morning. IGA has truly outdone themselves with these muffins, and I highly recommend giving them a try!

I was really impressed with the chocolate display at IGA. The presentation was absolutely stunning and immediately caught my eye as I walked through the store. The chocolates were arranged in such a way that it was easy to find exactly what I was looking for, and the display made everything look so inviting!
I appreciated how the display was well-organized, with different types of chocolates (milk, dark, and specialty flavors) clearly separated and neatly stacked. It was clear that a lot of thought and care went into creating this display, which made my shopping experience enjoyable and seamless.
Not only did the display showcase a wide range of high-quality brands, but it also made it easy to spot special promotions and new arrivals. Overall, IGA's chocolate display made shopping a delight, and I can't wait to come back for more treats.

The good:
- Great opening hours.
- Fresh take-away food available.

The bad:
- High prices with same quality and product as other stores.

The ugly:
- Damages items sold as new. BUYERS BREARE!!!
- Store manager is not present in the store at all times.
- Lack of leadership and training from management.

My experience:
Bought a packet of flour. Got home to realise it was a “torn packet which was taped with cello tape”. This wasn’t labelled a damaged item before purchase. (See picture) That’s illegal and I’m in disbelief that you would do such a pathetic trick for the sake of $18. That’s tells me a lot about how much they invest in training their staff in a "premium pricey store".

Adding to my frustration, the flour was spilled in my car and my house. I wouldn’t trust any of their freshly made food for the same reason.

Returned the flour packet the next day. A senior staff member acknowledged that it should have never been sold. The manager was not present at the store (which surprises me). Left my details with the staff.

A piece of suggestion:
The other low-star reviews here in Google shows that most goods are in this IGA are overpriced by about 30%, with no equivalent increase in quality. I only see the “higher price” as a “marketing strategy” to create a premium feeling. Have seen similar strategy in the IGA in Harvest Lakes too.

As a comparison, “Tony Ale Fruit & Vegetable Market” in Cockburn, have higher prices but a “significantly” higher quality of products.

I hope the owners can read this review and provide genuine feedback instead of a generic one (like ones in other reviews).

Update:
Snehal (Store manager) accepted fault and apologised. I believe this store has a long way to go in terms of (1) Customer Service and (2) Leadership, especially if they want to present themselves as a pricey premium store.

Nice fresh looking IGA but there is something fundamentally wrong. The ready cut fruit was completely tasteless and the quality does not match the price they are demanding. Suggest the owners speak with the franchisor to improve the quality of the product and bring the cost down.

I was one of the curious persons who attended last Thursday 5/10/23 when IGA opens its door to the public. I had no intention to shop. Just wanted to look around and compare the prices between this new IGA Supermarket near where I live and 2 Supermarkets Coles and Woolies where I shop weekly
at Gateway Shopping Centre.
As soon as I was inside the store, I was GOBSMACKED! WOW! The FRESH PRODUCE AREA was well arranged ... very well presented. I would say... it was the CENTREPIECE inside the store, so pleasing to my naked eyes. Another area that caught my attention was the cooked dishes and varieties of salads. One of the lady staff, I think her name is Harleen she let me tasted the cooked dishes and salads. Oh my, all were absolutely YUM!
I cannot buy these items from Coles or Wollies. I ended up shopping here some of the items that I normally buy weekly at Coles and Woolies because the prices were heavily discounted and also bought a large size cooked dish and medium size salad for my dinner.
I will definitely attend the GRAND OPENING DAY on OCTOBER 14, 2023.
I hope the prices are still generously discounted. This will be my new supermarket. Only a kilometer away to drive. The atmosphere inside is good. Easy to find the items that I need. Staff are helpful. Fresh produce are really fresh and an added benefit is that the Petrol Station that I always buy is BP, it is just across the store.

I purchased a 500g packet of beef mince on 29/10/2024, dated with a BB of 07/11/2024. I opened it at home and I had to throw it out immediately. It smelt so sour and was definitely ‘off.’ I don’t know what is happening when the meat is being packaged etc but the quality isn’t there and someone is going to end up very sick if it doesn’t change.

This place is seriously overpriced for the quality of produce.
This is the second time I have bought something that is off. It smells off and looks off. Many parts of the chicken were brown.
Not buying from here anymore, even if it’s a last minute shop for dinner. Was trying to support local. Staff also look very annoyed and unfriendly.
