We had an awesome experience at Urban Climb! The facilities are fantastic and cater to every ability- including kids! The kids had so much fun challenging themselves.
The staff were so lovely and inviting. They explained everything to the kids so that they could understand it and provided tips where necessary.
The amenities were amazing. From the self serve still and sparkling water (so fancy!) to the games and books in the communal areas to the feminine hygiene products for those who need them in the bathrooms. What a fantastic inclusion!
I can see that this space is inclusive for all even without the space having to advertise it. The space feels like such a safe and supportive environment and I can’t wait to go back!

A great place to challenge yourself and switch off from the everyday hustle and bustle. Took my 10yr old son there for a climbing session and broke it up with a game of chess as there are board games, card games and books there for use. The free still and sparkling water is great too and allows you to stretch out the session. Great relaxed vibe and our family are repeat customers.

Fantastic! Everything a bouldering gym should be. Brilliant facility with showers, training area, spray wall, shop etc etc. The routesetting is excellent through all the grades. I wish I lived closer!

I was happy to see a bouldering gym open up in Townsville and I had the opportunity to give it a go a handful of times over the Christmas break. The staff are super friendly, and the brand-new facilities are obviously in excellent condition.

However, I just wasn't feeling excited about the problems which were set. For me they seemed a little limited in choice and not much crossover of the grades (challenging positioning/easy holds or easy positioning challenging holds) to introduce natural development of people's skills who are climbing. I never had that 'a-ha' moment or 'cool' feeling when you work something out or complete a climb like I've had elsewhere.

This observation is just in comparison to other gyms I've climbed at but overall, this is a good gym which is sure to develop its offering and grow a tight community in no time. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

We went there with a youth group and would 100% recommend. All communication was helpful, honest, and full of good vibes. From the moment we got there, our whole group felt welcomed and encouraged regardless of abilities. The whole group had a blast. This is such a great facility here in Townsville!

She's always smiling and willing to go the extra mile to ensure everyone is having a great time. And let's be honest—Sam is also stunningly pretty, which is just the cherry on top of her fantastic personality!

Really great place with the walls constantly being updated to try new climbs! The people and community are very supportive and always cheer you on. Really good for functional fitness and mobility and works the mind as well as the body; definitely one of the more exciting ways to exercise that youll barely notice is a workout (until the next day 😂). Overall definitely worth giving a go, its great for all ages and very beginner friendly.
