I have booked VHS for two events this year. Launch party and Q&A for a new book. The team are super friendly and very willing to talk about what you want for your event and how to make a package that works for you. The setup is really flexible for a vast range of event types and I love that I can BYO catering. Support these guys as they have a great energy and intention.

This recently opened café became a fresh addition to Annerley street just two weeks ago. Considering the relatively limited café options in the Annerley area, I feel inclined to offer some constructive feedback, aiming to help the owners refine their offerings and ensure continued success.

Upon entering, we were immediately met with warmth and friendliness. The attentive staff made us feel welcomed, setting a positive tone for our visit.

Coffee: 4/5
Though I'm not a fan of coffee with milk, I decided to order a flat white, especially since I'd indulged in my meticulously home-roasted Geisha coffee earlier that day. Both my partner and I were quite satisfied, sensing that the coffee extraction was slightly above the usual standard. Notably, the beans are from "Renegade Roasters", a Brisbane-based roaster I'm yet to visit. The roast level seemed spot on for an espresso-based beverage.

The café's ambiance is charmingly classic, echoing vibes of a bygone era with its large vintage sofas and unique decor. However, it didn't fully resonate with my personal taste. I sensed something slightly amiss—be it the spaciousness, an unfamiliar scent, or the noticeable absence of air conditioning on that particularly sunny, warm hour during the day.

Held my 21st with these guys and had such an incredible night. The venue itself has a really cool vibe with the artwork and furniture and the seperate dance floor is perfect. The staff were also amazing, Will made the whole process of booking so easy and answered any question we had leading up to the event promptly. On the night the bar staff helped me put my own playlist on and had such a good and positive energy serving all of our guests and even joined us on the dance floor a few times. I couldn’t have had a better birthday and am so glad I chose this venue. Thank you for everything!

The venue had good feel about the space. Chairs and tables they supplied were in very poor condition unsafe. The grazing plater they supplied was over priced . Alcohol was over priced . Staff walked down the road to BWS and bought beer and wine & sprits due having no stock in the fridge then charged high end club price. Should be ashamed.
