Went to VIP Furniture today to check out the Boxing Day sales as I am in need of a new couch. They were busy, yes, but I saw a staff member walking, I said ‘excuse me’. He didn’t even look at me, and said ‘very busy’ in a rude manner. Instead he should’ve looked at me and said ‘sorry I’m just with someone, can I please come back to you?’ Simon is his name! All I wanted was a catalogue. Instead I walked out and went all the way into town to Harvey Norman and a mart to have a look. I will never go back there after today!

So, the wife and I went to buy a bedroom suite, (we've been looking for about 6 weeks now to no avail) and made our way to VIP Furniture at Smithfield. We should have gone to VIP in the first place. We found exactly what we were looking for, which was awesome. But the 5 stars is not for the bedroom suite, its for the service and personal touch that came with it. Vic and Maria went, what I consider to be, above and beyond what is the norm in customer service. I wont go into the details of what Vic did for us. They were just amazing. Honestly, if you're looking for excellent service, and excellent quality, go and have a chat to Vic at VIP Furniture in Smithfield.

I moved into my new house from interstate, and Emma Mattress (bed in a box) completely botched my order.

I called VIP on a Friday morning, spoke to Simon, who was a delight, bought a mattress over the phone according to my specifications, and they organised delivery to Trinity Beach that afternoon.

The customer service was second-to-none, and after my first night, the mattress is perfect.

They are one of the few places that actually keep stock on hand too.

Our sales man David was so professional showing a selection of pieces to choose from. David then sent us away without a sale telling us to (a) look around and compare prices (b) go home sleep on it then measure the area for right fit and think about the colours in our room for the best match. After a week we returned to vip and bought more items than planned not because of the up selling but because we saw a need for the new items. Thank you David

Waited six weeks for this chair. Broke after six days. They sent a repairman around quickly. The timber was the cheapest pine, full of knotholes which is where it broke. 12 months later I can’t recline the chair. Buy elsewhere!!!!
