Mould remediation - Terrible service!!!

Communication was terrible. They don’t answer their phone or their emails. When they did I spoke to a different person each time who gave conflicting information.

They put up a protective sheet to protect our belongings, which blocked all access to the small unit with one entrance so we could not get in. After being out of the property for 2 weeks while they remediated and waiting for the post remediation mould report to ensure it was safe/they could take the sheet down, we were told we didn’t ever need to leave the property.

When you remediate mould it releases mould spores into the air, making it unsafe to be in the environment. That is why the technicians wear protective clothing and put up sheets to protect furniture/belongings, then use an air scrubber when they disturb the mould. Even if we wanted to enter, we couldn’t access the unit as the protective sheet was blocking the whole property.

When I called to discuss the matter and finally got through to Glenn he yelled at me, told me the house was fine and not to bother him when he was not at work (I called the number on the website) and hung up on me! Absolutely disgusting.

If you have CIRS or any chronic illness definitely do not trust this service. They do not understand the health impacts of mould.

Kia came to inspect an ongoing mould problem.
What a breath of fresh air she was.

Glen and Ki were great. We got our house tested for mould following some ongoing water leaks etc. They were on time, fast with the results, gave us a clear report and took the time to talk us through it.

I called to make a complaint regarding a horrible, volatile worker to tell them he isn't welcome back into my home, and I spoke to a wonderful man named Glen who has advised me that Australian Fire and Flood are SEPERATE to this company and that he does NOT work for them. Glen was extremely helpful and empathetic and these negative reviews SHOULD NOT reflect his company, they are aimed at AUSTRALIAN FIRE AND FLOOD. I will be advising my insurance company that they should be using this lovely company.

They did an amazing job of cleaning the mound. They were thorough - checked the roof, ceiling, under the carpet etc. They did not rush and made sure everything was completed perfectly. They also explained what had happened and how they would treat it before they started.

Terribly shonky company. Charged us for more units than installed in the property, charged a higher rate than advertised, and also charged rental for a full day over the period of time the units were in the property.
Absolutely apalling communication. When we disputed the extra day charge, we never heard from them again.
Avoid at all costs.
