Installation has not stood the test of time.
Had I reviewed these guys back in 2020 when the unit went in I would have probably given 5 stars. They were responsive, well priced and appeared to get the job done with no mess or fuss.

3 1/2 years later not so much. Since the unit went in I have now had 3x ductwork failures (all in different locations), have found sections of pipe between indoor/outdoor unit with insulation fallen off, a pipe which was not formed correctly when bent, and today as the icing on the cake some cable work that would embarrass a first year apprentice.

After having the unit for a few years it seems likely that no air balancing was performed either (but this is speculation on my part).

I contacted Westcool today because of a fault with the unit and potential warranty only to be told that I should call someone else because the no longer do residential and only parts were covered by warranty in any case which would have to be managed through the manufacturer (this is in breach of Australian Consumer Law I might add).
Deciding to follow it up myself I found the likely cause as a damaged control cable behind the cover of the indoor unit electrical panel - a clear installation defect.

If you are a commercial entity with contract supervisors that perform QA checks at all steps of the process then maybe Westcool will be fine to use, however if you are expecting a completely hands off and trouble free install that lasts 10+ years with no defects perhaps look somewhere else.
