Probably one of the most beautiful spots on the planet! For a full "sand swirl experience" I would recommend you trying to get there on low tide if thats possible.

Amazing place, the sand is really really white, there is a lot of small (not dangerous) sharks and rays hanging around. You can see then from the shore and the water is not deep for miles. You get there by boat only and It's a protected area. You get off the boat on the other side of the island and walk the short walk in the forest to get to the beach. Go down for the beach and up for the view point.

we came here whilst on our three night tour of the Whitsunday islands, just for a day and it was worth it. This place is beautiful, the sand is like flour its so incredibly soft and white. the guide we had explained that if it gets in our cameras or anything like that, because its so fine it could damage it, so we put most of our items into bags so the sand couldn't get it. We also got told we could use it as an exfoliate for our skin and for cleaning real silver or gold jewelry so that's what we did, we got into the water and gave ourselves and our jewelry a good scrub, my silver rings had never looked so shiny. it literally is indescribable being here.

Beautiful place. The lookout is well worth the short hike. The seas are a beautiful colour and you can see the Manta rays from the lookout!

One of the most beautiful places on earth! By far most beautiful place we went to in Australia though the snorkeling was sub par. But Whitehaven Beach was breathtaking! Highly recommend doing a flight to get the best views of Whitsunday Islands and Great Barrier Reef!

Amazing island, the views were spectacular, you can wash your hair with the sand if you want, there were some turtles about so keep an eye out for them, overall will be comming back.
