Beautiful setting with so much potential, but was a waste of time coming.

We were hoping for a cheese board or something of the liking... but stood and waited for a good 5/10 minutes, whilst being ignored by the one boy who was working there... he was giving out oil tastings to the only other family in the shop and we didn't even get a hello or acknowledgement we were there...

So after 5-10 mins of just standing there, we decided to leave and try elsewhere...
So much potential, but just crap at this point in time....

Wonderful experience all around! This was our first stop in the area and it really set the expectations high. It’s a lovely location next to a beautiful dam. The woman in the cheese area gave us a great description of each cheese and helped helped us create a delicious cheese board.
Harry, behind the bar, served up a fantastic wine tasting and even left us with a list of places to check out afterwards.

Not great customer service. Would be better if there was a warm welcoming atmosphere but that didn’t really exist. Only two cheeses to taste so not really worth a drive.

A hidden gem for a relaxing afternoon with your friends. They have a good selection of cheese and nice wines to go with it. If the weather is good enough you can borrow one of their picnic rugs and have yourself a nice relaxing day.

No tasting available due to basically running out on weekend, but we still happily purchased some delicious local cheeses. The soft ash sheep's cheese was perfect. The soft cheese with lemon myrtle was also lovely and a hard local cheese. The pickled onions complimented our platter beautifully. Lovely views and wines also available.

Purchased this cheese at the shop keeper’s recommendation. Cut it open to reveal a watery brine. Not sure if selling cheese or soup? Flavour wasn’t right either. A real shame

This has to be the most disappointing experience of any holiday we have ever had. We were really looking forward to going here. We arrived at 4pm hoping to order and pay for a tasting board before purchasing some cheese only to be informed that the tasting cheese board couldn't be served because they were closing in an hour's time. Still plenty of time to serve some cheese. They only had 1 cheddar cheese that you could taste and a sign placed on the counter saying that if no product was purchased a $10 tasting fee would be charged. How do you expect customers to purchase products that are at a high price point without being able to purchase a tasting board to try the items first? Save your time, not worth the trip. Go to the Margaret River Factory instead. A much more pleasant experience.
