It would be fine if the expectations were set appropiately from the booking site. It is implied that the camp site has water frontage and beach to swim at but it was not at all water frontage and there didn't seem to be anywhere to swim other that a 8 ft cliff to a rocky area suitable for fishing only. Maybe we couldn't find it but that still sets an inaccurate expectation of camping by the water as depicted on the website and wikicamps.

The camp shouldn’t be advertised as near a beach/water. The water is a very long hot walk out of the camp and down large embankments which is difficult for those camping with children. The showers and toilets were clean. Good access to bins.

Great camp spot! We stayed in an unpowered site in our rooftop and loved how much space there was around the site, plenty of fire pits around too! Our dog loved the space to roam around (on a long lead)
There was a few mozzies around but nothing crazy
Free hot showers and toilet block were great too and clean!
Will definitely be back!

I took my dog on her 1st camping trip to this perfect place. Large spaced campsites with fire pits. Hot showers, clean toilets even with two large parties there for a birthday. Plenty of space to take the dogs for a walk. Short drive to 8km 4x4 beach. Hosts were so friendly and happy to help. Recommend 💯 %

Caravan and camping ground at 46 Bandicoot Dr in Bahrs Scrub, Woodgate Queensland Australia, provided an unforgettable experience for myself and my son. After staying there once before and falling in love with the place, we decided to return for a 3-day adventure in the Woodgate area. Despite encountering some car troubles on the way, the owners Louis and Maria went above and beyond to help us out.

When our car broke down 24 kilometers from the park, we were left wondering how we would get our caravan to the site without our Ford Ranger. Although we had organized a tow truck for the car, we didn't have roadside assistance for the caravan. Louis came to our rescue in his 4x4 vehicle, collecting us and the van and bringing us safely to the park. Maria and Louis not only set up our caravan but also made sure we were comfortable and settled in after a stressful day.

The park itself was a haven of nature, with clean amenities and well-maintained facilities. They even provided essentials like firewood, gas, and ice, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a perfect weekend. The kindness and hospitality shown by the owners truly made the stay unforgettable, and I can confidently say that this is now my favorite caravan park. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped camping experience.

Dirty sand. A long way to the river from powered sites. Take long hose for water and power some sights are far away. Over priced for whats here. Not enough amenities. Would not recommend.

Friendly hosts, quiet and spacious campground in a scenic area. Has access to the beach along the river where you can fish and swim. Definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

Stayed with the family at this beautiful location. So quiet with the bush camping feel and have water and power.
The amenities are absolutely stunning and so clean and tidy.
Owners made us feel very welcomed as soon as we arrived.
Firewood, ice, gas all there ready if you need.
Such a beautiful place, we will definitely be back.
