Put an offer on a house & had not 1 BUT 3 counter offers come back - We agreed to one of the offers... 5 days later (with back & forth contact) still NO sight of a contract & then told the sellers have renigged on the agreed offer?! The same day the place is Under Contract! 🤔🤯 Kevin outright lied & changed things to suit himself!! BAD BAD form Mate!! Disappointed is an understatement!!

Come on now Kevin, both my Husband & I heard the same conditions, that you changed days later to suit yourself! A draft from our Solicitor was even sent to you to check over & make sure everything was all good, the day after our verbal agreement!! If by our circumstances changed you mean selling our house, yes you would be correct! Still confused as to how the sellers had accepted an offer the night before (when apparently you couldn't get hold of them) we were even told ours had been refused?! 🤔

Terrible holiday accommodation. We booked a house for 3 nights and it was riddled with mould (visible and significant all over bedroom wall), strong musty smell in the main bedroom. Mould is a health hazard and this room was not safe to sleep in and the smell was unbearable.
A smoke alarm started to beep loudly on and off around 6AM then later in the morning it was continuous. We couldn't get it to stop so we had to leave the house and stand in the backyard as it was deafening. The real estate owner came around and couldn't fix so then we waited for an electrician who came 30 mins later and was in the house for 30 mins. He said the battery needed replacing and it was a maintenance issue. Great, so two intrusions into our holiday and 2 hours of disruption and deafening beeping because the agent doesn't ensure the property is maintained to standards.
The TV was so cheap and tinny and the sound quality so terrible, you could not hear dialogue over other low key noise (eg dinner being prepared in the kitchen). We told the real estate owner this when he came around and intruded on our very short break away due to the non-maintained smoke alarm.
The kitchen drawers stank of cockroaches and there was cockroach poo under the beds. I informed donna on checkout and she said a pest treatment hasn't been done in a while. Again, maintenance! A 12 monthly pest treatment should be standard to prevent infestations. You want to charge money for your property, then let it in good condition!
What were we offered for the above issues? A late checkout? Nope. Any money back? Nope. The real estate owner sent me an email to say they had fixed the issues but when I pointed out that didn't help the stay that we had, deathly silence. He was unapologetic and showed his contempt by ignoring my email. Unprofessional and rude. Money is apparently all that matters to these people. Providing accommodation to families on holiday in good, clean and habitable condition does not matter just so long as you get their money. No integrity, no ethics.
Lucky for them, my phone takes terrible photos so I cannot show the extensive mould on the wall as my phone didn't capture it. I have attached photos of one section of the wall and a curtain in this bedroom as proof. These photos were also emailed to Woodgate Realty on 5 July. They didn't reply. I had to follow them up on 11 July.
As for the reply from the real estate agent to this review, it is an outright lie that they tried to correspond and phone me and I didn't respond. I phoned him on 16 July and left a message. I then sent him two emails by way of follow up on 16 July. He replied on 17 July. I replied to him on 21 July. He ignored me. I followed up on 29 August, He still ignored me. It is completely dishonest to say he tried to communicate with me and I didn't respond. It was a three night stay, mate. We already had the smoke alarm. Exactly what would you have done if we told you about the mould etc while we were there? Should we have tolerated another intrusion Don't let houses in this condition and don't blame me for your failings.
Ive removed his name from this review as somehow my review got deleted?! Although I see names used in reviews all the time and they are still public. I will be checking that this one stays up!
