The cheese board with truffle salami was excellent. This is one of the few places in Margaret River (or anywhere?) that does free tastings — of really good wines, too, that you’ll want to get a full glass or bottle of.

If you only had time tor ONE tasting experience (which wouldn’t be the case ‘cos you’re in MR), this would be it. Sarah explained each one so beautifully and draws you in to each vintage. I loved her description of each wine and she made it very hard to choose the only 3 bottles we were able to fit in to our luggage! She is very knowledgeable and passionate about the wine and leaves you excited for each glass! She has perfected her presentation and has made the experience an exceptional one. Thank you, Sarah.

Had a fantastic experience doing the wine tasting at Woodlands Wine. Cheese platter is awesome. After doing tasting at the nearby wineries, we return to buy more wines from Woodlands as our family felt Woodlands have the wine that best suit our palate.

I would recommend this as the best winery I have visited in the Margaret River area. The quality of the wines is first class.
We had great service from Sarah who was very interesting in her explanations of the vineyards and wine-making process. A great experience.

Absolutely Fabulous!!
Claire and the Team will provide with full details of each wine including the area it came from and the barreling process etc. very interesting.
I highly recommend the 'grazing platter' with your wine tasting. It is simply amazingly delicious.
These wines aren't like the others - You won't be disappointed.

Last minute decision paid off, setting was lovely, we didn’t have a booking but Sarah fitted us in and was very friendly and knew the wines, the cheese platter we shared was the $35 platter and we went on Sarah’s recommendation for both the blue cheese and the soft cheese and loved both of them. Highly recommend the tasting and the platter and if it’s a nice day they have a lovely area to sit outside.

We have been to Woodlands Winery tastings twice and each was a superb and unique experience. Our hosts Will and Sarah were both extremely knowledgable and the wines were amazing! Be sure to sample and purchase the single vineyard cabernet sauvignon which is sourced from the original vines planted in 1973. Our overseas guests were highly impressed and we will be sure to visit again soon!
