I had only moved to GB a few months prior, and did all my shopping through WW. Arrived near closing time to grab a few essentials for my family and I was approached by a manger, a terrified teenage girl, and 1 other staff member. As I grabbed a box of cereal, i was told to leave the store immediately as I am not welcome there. He said they have me on camera caught stealing. I told him he was wrong and if he was going to publicly accuse me of that, I would like to see this footage. He didnt even acknowledge me, he just turned to the other staff and toldthem to call security. All right in front of other shoppers. As it was very near closing time, I had to hurry to Coles, but I stated that I still wanted to see this footage. No evidence has been presented as yet. We are good people that DO NOT steal from anyone. I have NEVER been treated so poorly in my entire life. Still considering whether or not to sue for wrongful accusation. I will not return to this store EVER. Absolute disgrace!

The store manager said someone would call me back in regards to an incident that happened with one of the staff members. Nobody called me back. You obviously don't value your customers. I won't be shopping here anymore.

I used the self-serve checkout at Woollies Secret Harbour and was helped by Carl, a delightful young man.

I remarked he must like his job as he seemed very happy in his demeanour.

He replied I love helping people.

Unfortunately, my local Woolworths seems to have lost its way. I visited the store on Saturday 6th Jan to carry out my weekly shop.
Their slogan "the fresh food people" seems a little outdated. Most products are overpriced, with some vegetables just about past their used by date.
For example, we picked up a Wombok lettuce which was ordinary at the least but on special. As we would be using it straight away we picked it as it was on special. Once at the checkout in scanned at a higher price, so we queried it.
The on shift front desk controller was very matter of fact and might as well have accused us of lying and wasting her time. Her manner was very stand offish and, in some way, disrespectful.
Even the staff these days don't greet you with any sort of friendliness.
I'm glad that there are 2 more supermarkets in the shopping complex and intend exploring them for a change unless Woolworths pick their game up.

I was getting my groceries and was pleased with what I almost had. Then a bell started ringing, loudly. A computer generated voice blasted out saying we might need to evacuate. I asked an employee if this had happened before and she said yes and that we probably wouldn't have to evacuate. She was wrong. The whole complex had to leave the building, and their groceries behind. The whole shebang. Coles, Woolies, everyone...Hairdressers proceeded to do lady's foils on the sidewalk and staff members around the periphery looked to be having a get together. We were standing under the deafening, and unsettling alarm, whilst watching bemused staff trying to dismantle the bomb, whoops, I mean the alarm. After about fifteen minutes we decided to cut our losses and run. On our way to another Woolworths to do the same shop twice....we passed two firetrucks....On their way to turn off a false alarm.
